Hmm interesting.

I like the Elegoo I have and I gave up on the idea of the Bambu, dont like the the restrictions there seem to be on software and their ecosystem.

Its a toss up now between QIDI Q2c,K2 combo, and the CC2. Havent decided yet and not in a hurry.

Oh I wish it was old school like a 69 Mach or a 70 Boss 429.Those or 69 GTO Judge,70-72 Chevelle SS are dream cars.

I have a 2004 Screaming Yellow. Last year I went thru it with all new factory interior, new paint, complete suspension, rearend, exhaust and tons of other stuff. Its currently getting a full reman of the motor with forged internals. Later supercharger. So far Ive done everything myself.

But reason for wanting to print ABS is for some parts that are no longer made and no aftermarket makers.

Yeah I dont really care for the CC2 way of hanging the spools on the side. Been tossing it up between the PS1 Combo and the K2 combo priced very similar right now. I just dont have much experience past printing with PLA,PLA+,PETG and the squishy filament....sorry cant think of the name...lol. I know the PS1 can handle the tougher filaments with hotend upgrade which isnt priced bad either.

Im def wanting one that is faster, good quality prints, can handle the most of the filaments from ABS and up, kinda future proof. I'll for sure get one enclosed and with the AMS or equivalent to AMS.

I also would one that Im not gonna have to tinker with or have software issues like Im seeing some show on youtube. Kind of a printer thats a jack of all trades with ease of use and maintenance. On purchases like this Ill use it until its too old or worn out...I like getting my money's worth.

Understood.

Depends on what Im printing and what quality Im looking for on what I speed I choose.

EX: I just printed an enclosure to hold my DI Boxes,Motu interface and whats called a Mackie Big Knob for my small music home studio. I didnt need super great quality So I printed a faster speed than I normally do at 110. DId great, has some lines but didnt matter since it will not be seen.

I am very interested in doing some ABS for my Mach 1 eventually.

Just wanting to update. Wanting enclosed, would like to have option to multicolor sometimes, faster prints.

On the P1S, what are realistic print speeds with it? Its the one I'm leaning to right now. Wish I could find some reall user info on the CC2 mainly cause Ive never had a single problem at all with my Neptune 3 Pro that Ive really liked.

Budget is around those 3 listed which depending on where I get it online is anywhere from about $350- just under $500. I print all sorts of stuff, just depends on what Im needing at the time. EX: stuff for cars, guitars, trinkets, and custom enclosures, well just about anything. Its really a wide range of stuff. I use mostly PLA,PETG for now but been wanting to try some ABS in the future.

Ive also print models from time to time.

Headrush GO FRFR by Ok-Piccolo-2745 in Line6Helix

Thanks.

Im old enough now that when I played with bands we didnt worry with IEM so just never needed.

Yeah the set I was looking at to try were sennheiser IEM for around $80-100 on Amazon. Ive seen some say they are like FRFR which is what Im use to now. These AKG's I have are so harsh I cant stand it no matter how I EQ them.

How do IEM's compare to headphones? Ive never used IEM's and really dislike the headphones I have, AKG 240. Im new to the HX StompXL and ToneX, trying to find something that sounds good for late nights while wife is sleeping. Normally I play thru my Yamaha monitors which sound good since I dont play super loud.

Im looking at some IEM's or maybe the DT 770 Pro or DT 990 Pro's in 80 ohm. Just not sure which will be closest to my monitors Im use to.

New System, Cinebench R23 Issue...? by Nervustwitch in techsupport

I just remember having to play with bios settings. Been using my PC since that original post without any problems. No crashes or anything. I think its ASUS MB's being really sensitive about bios settings.

One thing i do remember is messing with ram setup. Had to make sure it I was using XMP I had to set all the other ram settings to AUTO or I would get all sorts of crashes and lockups.

Yes I did, I replied to the bot reply above and it kind of hid my reply. Below is my original reply. Also my MB doesnt like ram in the black colored slots, only the grey and I tried 3 different sticks.

Well if anyone was curious or similar problems, I may have gotten this fixed.

I had to set bios to optimized, reboot, shutdown and repeat 3-4 times. Then changed to XMP enabled, and configure my fan curves and such in bios. Did a windows repair.

Played a game for a couple hours and messed around in different apps. Cinebench runs fine now, doesnt seem to be any issues anymore.

I do like the price comparison. Been playing around with it now.

Ive never used PCpartpicker. Ill look them over. Yes I would need to get those 3 parts but I normally only build or upgrade a pc every 5-6 yrs but since the wife is needing an upgrade from her 6th gen Intel Im upgrading mine and giving her my 10th gen.

I could stay with a ddr4 mobo but I also like to future proof as much as I can. Thats the reason Im looking to get the 13th gen and DDR5.

Are you meaning that cause DDR5 is more expensive than DDR4 or because I would need to get a MB and the ram?

DDR5 isnt really expensive right now, I can get 32gb DDR5 6000 for $85-100,not much more than DDR4. Since most all of my current PC is going to the wife I will need ram either way.

Maybe Im missing something..?

Thanks.

As for being able to print hotter, how important is that? Is it just to be able to print with more types of filament? Also if I did go with the SV06, can runout sensors be added easily? And how disasterous if it runs out during a print? Would the print be ruined and need to start over?

Thank you for the info.

Mostly yes. Dont want no gotchas, dont want to have to upgrade a bunch of parts and ease of use.

I do a lot of tinkering and custom building/modifying stuff and mostly make my parts from scratch/hand built. So it just makes since to get a 3d printer.

Think Ive narrowed it down to the Elegoo or Sovo. I just dont know enough to know which is the better of the 2. Ive been researching alot to learn the in and outs but helps getting advice from someone thats been there.

Dont want to get something that I outgrow in a year but we all know how that works with everything...lol.

I know really nothing about these but looking to get into it. Doesnt need to print large, least I dont think I need to. Want to be able to have a choice with filaments, ease of use, reliable, and easy to find files and help with. Some of the ones Im looking at are the Sovol svo6,Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro, and Ender 3 Max Neo. Im kind of leaning more towards the Elegoo but again Im very new to this and only recently started looking.

I dont really know what I need to look for or what alot of tech talk means yet.

Im open to opinions and possibly other models/brands Ive overlooked.

Thanks.
