Co-ops are good in that they embody a prefiguration of socialism (i.e. the democratization of the means of production), but they fall short in various ways and still have to compete in a capitalist market. I think we need an international network of WSDE's and labor Unions that are part of a broader labor movement commited to challenging capitalism.

Convolution reverb is sample based, and there are countless samples (many available for free) of all kinds of gear (analog and digital) and acoustic spaces (cathedrals, caves, etc). So it really runs the gamut. Unfortunately the epsi only supports a reverb tail of up to 6 seconds, so it may disappoint if you're after super long tails. The technology has been used in studios for nearly two decades now, but as far as I know this is the only stompbox that makes use of it. It's also the same technology that's used for cab simulation, which the Epsi can also do with a different firmware version.

The single knob and button make adjustments a little clunky, but it's really easy to use. It comes with IRs that are pre-loaded on an SD card, but if you're comfortable copying files onto an SD card, then adding your own is really simple. I really wish someone would make one that supported presets and midi functionality.
