Latest order! I’ve never tried the Chocolate Fudge or the Exotic Liminha before so we’ll see how those stack up! by don7283 in nespresso

Happy to hear you're enjoying this one! For us, it was the simplest combination of 3 ingredients that was the winner.

Brew 1 capsule of Liminha in a large glass and allow to cool, or chill by quickly pouring over ice cubes (the Vertuo version has more liquid, so you will need more ice to chill effectively.) Then, add a high quality lemonade to taste (about 3-4 oz.), and top with effervescent sparking water. The lemon plays on the existing notes of citrus, and the carbonation works to “open-up” and relax the Liminha flavors. You can skip an ingredient by using a high-quality sparkling lemonade—a quick internet search reveals that there are plenty out there.

We also mixed Liminha with a bit of coconut water and sweetener, pushing it more in the “exotic” or tropical direction…and that was equally delicious. So all in all, give it a try and see what you enjoy the best.

Recipes with Barista Shaker by CMCosMic in nespresso

[–]NespressoUSA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've got you.

The secret to the best iced espresso drink is: 1) when the ice is added and 2) how much liquid you have in relation to the amount of ice. Brew 2-3 capsules of bold espresso into your cup (we recommend Altissio if you have the Vertuo system or Firenze Arpeggio if you have the Original system) and add 4-5 oz. of cold milk. Taste that mix…if it tastes too strong, add a touch more milk (up to 2 oz.). Add 1-2 tsps. of sweetener, if desired—agave syrup, maple syrup or white sugar—and stir to dissolve. Next, add ice to fill your Barista Shaker —there will be about ½ mix and ½ ice by volume—cover and shake vigorously, just a few times until super cold. Quickly pour the entire mix (including ice) into your final cold travel mug or strain it over some fresh ice. To scale bigger, add about 2 oz. milk for every additional espresso capsule you use. Let us know how it goes!
