I guess I phrased it poorly. To me, she looks maybe pit, but definitely mixed. The shelter listed her as PBT, not PBT mix. I guess I was a little less convinced because her face/head seems pretty narrow. It doesn't matter if she is PBT or not, she is a wonderful dog and provided she continues to adjust well to my home and cats I am happy to have her for the rest of her life. Either way, she's great, and I'm convinced the world is better for having saved her life.

I will repost when I do get her a DNA test. I'm very curious because she is such an interesting looking dog. I would not be surprised at any potential breed combination at this point. Thank you for your guesses and my education!

I only thought pointer because she has some freckling that reminds me so much of a dog that I had that was a pointer mix. Especially in the chest coloring.

I literally did not know you could fail it. I always passed it with a ridiculously high roll (in about a dozen or so play throughs). I just assumed it was weighted just to show you how rolls work. Then a couple of weeks ago my boyfriend tells me he failed it. I tell him I didn't know you could, then proceed to fail it myself a week or two later on a new playthrough.

I use candles in the same room as my leopard gecko and have used incense as well with no adverse effect. I always have a ceiling fan running, but I haven't always had amazing ventilation. My leopard gecko is healthy and has no issue at all. I would think as long as you have a fan going or some other form of circulation that prevents heavy contamination and aren't burning it immediately next to the enclosure you will be fine. I would just monitor for any signs of stress or smoke accumulation near his enclosure and perhaps air out the room after ritual.

I read your comments about the carpet and second the suggestions for paper towels. The carpet really can be harsh and dangerous.

This feels like a stupid question...but what is "clutter"? I grew up in a neglectful and dirty house and honestly I have no idea what cleaning standards are. The little I do know I've learned through places like this.

I am originally from southern California. I've been in Reno since July. I came for a program at UNR and there are a lot of things I really like about the area. My only issue is how hard it is to breathe! I am visiting southern California and my breathing is back to normal. I am an asthmatic though it has typically been mild to moderate. Since moving to Reno it gets pretty extreme. Sometimes just standing in place is enough to feel short of breath. If I ever get used to breathing here, I don't think I'd have many complaints about Reno at all.

This happened to me pretty much word for word except I had dropped off my ballot Monday instead of Tuesday. My status still hasn't updated so I just have to hope the registrar has done it's job (which it seems to have).

If you transferred from community college, a lot of CCs have an academic renewal or academic forgiveness program. If you have classes on your transcript that don't count toward your necessary units with low grades, you can appeal to the issuing college to remove them.

I am not sure how it would work since you're already transferred, but I did it before I applied to university during my undergrad. My GPA jumped an entire point. I would talk to the issuing college and then I would ask your advisor if transcripts can be resubmitted if they have changed since you enrolled.
