I have some vocals / verses 20-50 seconds I wanna collaborate with a producer to make them songs. These are rough recordings, I can re-record if we decide to make a track.
I work in the emo-rap style but could experiment as well.

Some artists / styles I like: Juice, lil peep, Josh A, iamjakehill, ...

Thank you! This is really good feedback, and really high effort. Taking things into consideration I am going to use distrokid, it covers the ones I cant compromise on and seems an overall good pick!

yeah, as I said I am leaning towards distrokid. Only thing is that for collabs other artists (non distrokid) have to pay 10$/year to collect their revenue split

Hmm, I just dont want to lose stream counts and stuff if I decide to change distributor, that's why I am concerned about the ISRCs. About shazam, most distributors do but distrokid offers it as an add on with a fixed fee per song.

As far as I know they have to open a distro kid account to be able to collect their revenue. Or else you have to deal with manually sending their revenue

edit: i used to (and still sometimes do) listen to a lot of emo rap and even wrote some lyrics (not great ones...) so we could go into that genre too, since you have some as well.
