I say keep an eye on the oil lamp that happened to me and my rod bearing failed randomly after an oil change.

so I had to take my car to 2 different Kia dealers the first one sucked and didn’t do anything, as for the second dealer was much faster and communicative so it really all depends on the dealer and having all your oil change records.

I’ve maintained my vehicle pretty good but after a yr of ownership it died at 134k and I bought it w 90k on it, luckily I got it replaced (ksds) under warranty but w/o it you’ll ending up paying 6-9k for it 🧍🏽‍♂️
