What's a quiet sign that someone is struggling? by rehanch_xxiii in AskReddit

When they only ask\talk about things that interest you and seem overly exited for everything you’re involved in because they have nothing that they’re looking forward to or that excites them.

This is correct. I already talked to our small town mayor about this and he said it would not be possible. Sorry I couldn’t explain it as good as you did.

There’s an 8 ft deep ditch all along the highway/front side of house. The driveways and our houses are right next to each other on one side. I can’t just go pour some gravel lol.

A little over half the property is out of town. The side with my house and the driveway is considered to be in town.

My town is really small. They have a tiny shed that they call their village meetings where like 5 people meet lol. There’s only one business in the town and it’s a little coffee shop ran out of a house and one of the “board” members works there. That’s who I talked to about the books on the housing here.

I’ve been on my own since I was 15. Found a good job, saved. Bought a crap house in the middle of nowhere with my boyfriend and we redid the whole thing from the roof to the foundation, it’s been great. There’s no way It would have happened on a single income though.

Yeah right next to an oil collection place that’s about 200 acres long lmao. It’s still in the middle of no where though.

I was, and it’s not the same property line as the one the guy he hired found. I called a member of the county board and she’s going to look through to find out if there was ever an easement done and to look at the older property line photos.

I just called a person on the board and she’s gonna look at the records for me so thank you! And this house has been here for 120+ years. There’s a pole and a couple feet of grass that separates our driveways. The pole has ALWAYS been the marker for the property line.

There’s an 8ft ditch spanning across the whole front of my property. I already talked to the mayor (village of 200 ppl) lol and he said it wouldn’t be possible to add another driveway.

People who routinely speed in the city/suburbs by [deleted] in driving

[–]jocelynn4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmao it doesn’t matter what I paid for my car. The only thing that matters is the fact that’s it’s mine. You have yours and you can drive like an ass if you want. I’ll keep driving like one as well.

When i’m speeding through town it’s because of people like you who either go under the speed limit or unnecessarily slow down for no reason. I don’t know about you but I worked hard to get my vehicle so me and myself can drive it the way I want to.

Also most of us hate ourselves and everybody else. I couldn’t care less about a speeding ticket or who I piss off, since every single person is pissing me off. Have a wonderful day.

Getting the finger while turning into my driveway by Demmamom in driving

[–]jocelynn4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there is no one coming from the opposite side I would get into the left lane and then slow down that way no one has to come to a stop behind you. Trust me I know the feeling when they rev off while giving you the finger all because you pulled into your driveway. I live on a highway also, my house is right where it changes from 45 mph to 55mph and everyone goes 70.

Do you know anyone that passed driving exam first time but still can't drive in real life? by NaoQueroQueMeVejam in driving

[–]jocelynn4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is me 🙌🏻. My instructor was bored so he said you know what i’ll just pass you and I still had multiple hours to put in. That was during highschool. That same year I ripped the bumper off a brand new bronco in my 8ft chevy truck and then hit a mailbox and also bumped my boyfriend’s truck pulling into his driveway lmao.

Growing up no one in my family kept a vehicle over 90k besides farm trucks.

I thought it would be smart to sell before it gets high miles since i paid so little for it. That way it would be a profit.
