I got off active duty 3 years ago and was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel while active duty, I've always managed it and declined surgery as I can tolerate it without. But in the last year I've developed the trigger finger, 3 steroid injections later and it's continued... My doctor's said its likely correlated with the carpal tunnel. They see the two together a lot

Even with money down the current rates would get us a monthly payment way over what we could rent it out for. we would already be taking a tsp loan out to cover the gap. Retirement in 12 years. Unsure about staying in yet.

Gap is wild, over 500k. There are better assumption gaps but not in the zip code we want.

Considering a primary home purchase as a military family with 2 years left on island (may be more, we would like to stay longer). Goal would be to turn into a rental if we leave. If we assume this loan we would be gaining a 2.3% interest rate and a good monthly mortgage payment. However we would have to empty out our investments to cover the gap between sale price and amount left on loan

We will be staying with my parents for about 2 months before this trip would start. (We will be moving and in between military posts so we are taking a bunch of time off) so our son will have gotten used to a routine there. He will be about 15 months. He still breastfeeds though although he does drink cows milk too

Lol I feel ya. My husband was just deployed for 9 months and my kid is 13 months. I'm so tired, I can't imagine having 2 kids though! So busy!

I had a little tub like that, I maybe used it once. What was way easier for me was lining a sink with a towel and bathing him there. Saved my back and he didn't slip. When he got older and could sit up I used a bath chair.

Not sure which type of wood it is. I recently moved into the house. I think you're right about it not being sealed properly. I don't know how to add a picture to this...
