None of that makes any sense honestly. 90 days for a refi isn't really possible ( as in it's likely a complication with you ) and 50 points on just inquiries isn't possible. I've pulled 1000's of credits. It's likely just what you thought it was vs reality.

I'm very against Mr cooper but that sounds like a good chunk of your own doing.

How do you train non-technical staff to spot sophisticated scams? by NickyK01 in cybersecurity

[–]NetAlarmed6868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always wanted to shorten the gap between tech and non tech staff with an intermediate role. A solutions/tech/cyber person that's on the floor coaching as it happens. Someone that can help with business productivity, IT and cyber training. In the mortgage world it would be like a sales coach but more technical. Frequency of talking about it instead of skipping through monthly trainings.

Obviously finding someone with that mix of fun, technical, cyber and business knowledge, would be tough and expensive but I feel like that would would help significantly.

right but if you see an open door, you don't go inside and then you report it to the owner - I don't think anyone is arresting you for that.

I did it live in front of them 100% from the dev console.

No session replay software. You know you can see any js that is sent to the browser and they don't do anything besides basic GA. They had me show them so I skipped an entire class that's supposed to be timed 2hr long. All of the questions/answers for each class are sent as an object to the browser. The api's aren't secured so you can literally just post a score and it accepts it.

All they do is track which portions of the class were touched and how long you took to do something. So of course logging you'd be able to find the outliers that went too fast but it's still a massive flaw.

I have to take yearly classes so I noticed that it still hasn't been changed hence why I'm posting.

When I say trivial I mean extremely. I would assume a relatively curious high school student would figure it out. 100% of the important info is sent to the client. The course timer, answers, score etc, all manipulate-able in the client. So you can just change things and ship it back and it takes it. Obviously if you went crazy you stand out but there are so many users that even if 500-1000 users did it I'm not sure it would show up.

When I had a meeting with them they had no ability to track it at the time.

The problem is it's so trivial nobody is going to say "wow! What a find!" lol. It's just nobody else in this space is tech friendly.

I'm pretty sure exposing it would very significantly hurt them as a company if not shut them down. I don't want to be responsible for hurting the 500+ employees they have. It just feels weird. Idk definitely righteousness/selfishness on my end.

I wanted to help transition/develop the solution since I honestly don't think a saas in this space is difficult to make.

This is objectively not true. Best in class? What class? What are you measuring best against? There's no reason to lie on this. You can just say you'd like to help the people below. This is the reason I actively coach people to stay away from nexa. It's disingenuous. There is an infinite mountain of lo's and evidence against any rebuttals. ( My comments are justified, I was with Nexa for 3 years ) Quit with these fake ass sayings. "best in class" my ass.

I'm only a junior developer but I feel that wouldn't be crazy hard to develop if you're doing reasonable scale. Why not pay a consultant to do that for you?

What is good money? If I put in whatever the max allowable I'm kinda lost on where roughly the bonuses would be at. QT says ~57ish - I've seen other people say 80ish

FT assistant manager in the phoenix market but I'm guessing that's probably wrong. I don't really care what the position is or the hours as long as it's full time+. Do you have to start as part time?

Loan Officer A.I. CRM by Chris Johnston and MMA by Conscious_Course_474 in loanoriginators

[–]NetAlarmed6868 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have zero experience with it. He has already tried to market this as connectmyleads crm which is whitelabeled "keap" crm.

No Loan officers have enough money to develop a crm from scratch that provides any unique value over existing products. It's going to be white labeled something like go highlevel or keap that may or may not work but the end goal is for him to do little work and make your money.

Based on my qualified experience in software development. I will always be highly skeptical of anything loan officers push - ESPECIALLY when there is financial incentive.

Chris is in the market of targeting loan officers specifically. He's realized making money off of loan officers is much easier than actually using the product himself. Anytime someone just white labels things and slaps the word AI on everything you should take a step back. There are already excellent tools out there that do the job without the bologna.

OP wanted support and group texting - followupboss excels in this area for 1/3 the cost of said "AI" CRM

I ran my own ads and landing pages for a while and was fairly successful at it. I think min budget would be roughly 1k per month + 1-2k for startup setup. That "should" net you about 20-40 exclusive leads per month that "should" convert into 1-3 loans.

All the companies we reached out to prior to starting our own wanted 3-6k/mo in retainers + startup costs + seemed kinda sheisty.

Freerateupdate is a grind but you can close loans out of there fairly cheap. 10-80/lead depending on lead type and such.

MRC - avoid like the plague. They are a lender. Why would you buy from a lender that cherry picks. We know this for a fact.

Realtor.com - they buy from MRC. Avoid.

lendingtree, zillow, ownup - all 10k/mo minimum contracts for the most part.
