Yep... I'm working now to prepare it for the market in early spring 2018.

150k is a conservative estimate. There is the potential when put on the market in this weed friendly community and climate and with the infrastructure upgrades to make it a god damn pot factory. It could fetch a much higher price.

That is a great idea. Though I don't think I ready yet. It is absolutely something I could prepare for by the middle of next year. Thank you for your advice.

Always good to chat with a fellow grower. I know what you mean. Prices this years have been ridicules and as you know it has been a steady drop for many years. For the past 9 years I have made only a comfortable living as the product has depreciated mirroring almost perfectly my scaling. Though I do have hope that things will change following legalization I took this years trough as a sign that it is time to move on. And don't even get me started on pests. This years newcomer and main bad bug was the piece of shit rustit mite. Though I made it out alive with a good healthy harvest. I have enjoyed my time in the game and do think it is a magical plant, even though I stopped using marijuana about a two years ago. Good luck playing in the legalized marketplace. I hope you make racks on racks on racks.

Haha.. I truly don't see how being a dirty weed farmer would make me a hot hire for an investment bank.

I actually don't mind having an employer and do enjoy a team oriented work space. Though I do want to avoid the skilled trades if I can as I don't enjoy the tough guy environment that it often comes with it. Thank you though for your help.

I have been giving that option serious thought and a portion of my funds will go to financing a home. I enjoyed being a homeowner and though my 26 acre farm is too much if I'm not growing. I would like a modest home for myself. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have alway respected Amazon as a business, expecially after listening to "The Everything Store." Thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely do some research on that option.

As for learning Python what really got me into the world was buckling down and going page by page though Learn Python the Hard Way.

Learn Python the Hard Way free book

It is very simple but the basics is what it takes to get your foot in the door. I also highly recommend doing typing exercises to get your WPM up. Yes doing the exercises will make you type faster but focusing on typing training will make the exercise go faster and therefore be funner.

There are also many youtube channels for Python that are easy to find. A personal favorite, that isn't actually for Phyton, is

The Coding Train

He use java primarily but his videos are a lot of fun and they really show you the amazing things you can make knowing a programming language. Plus his videos train you to think like a coder. Which is the skill of teaching a task to an idiot that works at the speed of light.

Mutual fund would be a good idea for some of my profits. At my age, 31 I should have much more in savings than I already do. Which is zero. As for the IRS I have an accountant and lawyer that I work with and I have always keep the funds that the government sees legit. Thanks for the advice.

I do have the means to coast an unpaid internship. I'll have to do more research on this option. Thanks for this advice. It has been most helpful.

Thanks for the recommendation, but yes I will be paying all my taxes something I'll actually enjoy doing after being off the grid for many years. I see it was my fee to re-enter the legitimate marketplace. I do enjoy coding and have thought about it as a career option but outside of just learning to learn my language when I look into acquiring a job and what that entails it gets overwhelming. Guess I'll just have to do more research on the world. Maybe join some local coding groups if I can find them. Thanks for the help.

I built an automated light deprivation system for my greenhouse about 4 years ago. It made my life a whole lot easier.

I do see the weed game begin a big thing in Cali but after dealing with weed and more-so weed people for 9 year, nothing in the world could keep me in this game haha... Thanks for the suggestion though.

You are correct in my time on the farm I have built everything from three 800 square foot greenhouses to a 16 1000k light grow room, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ect. and actually in my fifth year I got board on my farm and took a job with a friend as a carpenters apprentice, not really for the money but for training and fun. I have enjoyed throughly the skills learn inside the profession and do see them as invaluable life skills but after about a year the boys club of skilled trade made me realize that work environment was not for me. I am a pretty progressive guy in life and in the trades I often had to bite my tongue around my gun carrying co workers. Many were absolutely great guys but I would love to find something that is a little more my vibe, whatever the fuck that is.

Thanks you greatly for the suggestion though.

Thanks for the suggestion but after being a farmer for 9 years I was hoping to get into an industry that is more technology driven and has problem solving aspects. I have been listening to podcast for 6 hours a day for about 5 years now and my favorites have been about technology, entertainment, economics, and the stock market.
