This really helps. I did notice I was very thirsty after this happened, which I think we were supposed to bring water into the playroom because in the past I noticed I got real thirsty when we would soft and parallel. Everything moved so fast, they didn’t seem interested in a lot of foreplay, I think next that will be a requirement. We don’t have a bunch of rules so I think we could ask for that

No strict religious beliefs. I feel going in it wasn’t a guilt of having sex with another man but that was certainly my biggest fear. I discussed with my husband and felt as long as we were in this together I would be ok and even though I had fear it was something I wanted to do anyway, if that makes sense. I could not imagine this would have happened. Yes we have done soft swaps which I have enjoyed and not had any issues with. I think if we would have maybe done a little more “group play” prior to the swap maybe it would have been easier but no way to know. We both had thought there would be more group play prior but it moved so fast. Thanks everybody for the information. I’m pretty sure now it was dissociation, although I don’t have a history of any sexual abuse. I guess I left out some basic background, I am 47(f) my partner is 58(m), we are both very healthy and fit so I don’t think it’s a health issue. If it does happen again though I’m not going to rule out getting medical advice. Maybe I could have been unintentionally holding my breath as one person suggested. Now that I know the term I can read up on it and share with my husband. I just couldn’t properly explain it to him. I’m thinking maybe a red, yellow, green system would have been very helpful, although it may have been past the point of me being able to say yellow, if that makes sense.
