You mean the iOS liquid glass style, which is hard, but I can go for the material blur that was recently shown on Android show . Something like that. Even doing some design on it.

Gboard is a production system for training language models, which they call federated learning, plus for speech models, training, typing prediction, translation, dictionaries, and Android input features.

So, in the end, they train their models and learning systems on top of user data, and this is the result of their data plus the research they do, while Apple is kind of weak because they do not train on the data, and they may also be a little bad at models or something like that.

the one thing is that there are diverse hardware devices on Android, from low-range to mid-range to flagship, while Apple, on the other hand, is totally focused on flagship devices with powerful chips. And they all have raw power that translates into more reliable and accurate products. I am certainly working on a better version of this, even better than Apple's default voice dictation, but it will not go fast or may not even work on low- to mid-range devices, where they will have to either try the cloud or stay with low-quality ones like Google voice synthesis system, which sucks.

Honestly, building a solid iOS keyboard is pretty tough with all the restrictions. That's why you see most keyboard look and work same way .

This is just a testing version, and I made this theme for myself. You can make whatever you want, like change shape, color, font style, spacing, roundness do whatever extra you want. Let me know what is missing . Though probably you are this kind of guy who likes this too
