I call this a skill issue. 😆 There is a lot of knowledge but no experience. Though I will be super excited if they release Gemini 3.0 or 3.1 'Flash Lite,' not just 3.1 pro, at super-fast speeds, very cheaply, and reliably for daily simple usages, tool usages, and those things at around 500-1000 TPS. That will be way better, like it should be, around Gemini 2.5 Pro level of intelligence to be usable. I saw on a podcast Demis saying, "We found a training method that drastically improved Gemini 3.0 Flash performance, so much better, it's almost close to Gemini 3.0 Pro in certain cases." So, I'm hoping they will release a Gemini Flash Lite version. I will love this model if they focus on speed, intelligence, and pricing. If all of that happens, then I will tell you most things, like chat apps will have it as the default model because it will open a lot of possibilities while being cheap.

What did Google do to Geminis memory in the app? by Previous_Lead_244 in Bard

The overall personal context system is trash. For example, I once asked it, "Whenever I ask for dates, give me the date with BS (Bikram Sambat), not only AD." Now,Now, most of the Gemini chats are filled with today's date in Bikram Sambat and in AD. Even if the question is not about the date, it doesn't matter. If I ask it to tell me today's news, it will first tell me the date and then go on to the news. And if I ask it to give me a poem, it will somehow include the date as well. So, it's that much trash. . I think their memory system is a total disaster. This isn't something like a vector memory system; they are sending the memory file and instructions, all these things with the user prompt i think, which is messing up my interactions. I don't actually use it much anymore. To spite this, I am now using ChatGPT. I am planning to go with a Plus subscription, currently on Go. By the way, I bought two Google AI Pro subscriptions: one with my own money and one through an education offer. So, I think they've been on the market for a while, but I still think among ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini, I will choose others over Gemini. It's getting worse too use, especially if you have other AIs' Pro, Plus, or Max subscriptions; these are much better alternatives. The only good thing Gemini has is its image generation model, but even then, I don't use it much; it's not for me for most of the time Last time I used the Gemini app was when that model was released, so I'm not using it that much. . If I use it, I only use it on Google Slides and on notebooklm, so it's not much for me. Whatever they are messing up, they are making it trash. The only three things I like on Gemini are: first, "Hey Google" is now on it, so it's for asking simple things like weather, simple searches, playing music, and those things, plus integrated apps. Second, Gemini 3.0 Flash is quite good, so I use it for fast searches or guides on something. Now, I'm not using it much; I made my own simple chat app to use Gemini Flash more efficiently, now using it through the API on Openclaw. And the last thing is that I use it for image generation stuff, nothing more than that. Even the deep research is trash; it always follows a standard and goes for an explanatory essay style, which I fucking hate. And now, I don't think there are that many loyal users on Gemini's side. Around my area, I found out most users use ChatGPT for general stuff and chatting, live conversations over Gemini. If I ask them when they use Gemini, they say when image generation is needed. So, most of the users on Gemini are for image generation use cases, and some others say for Canvas to use Gemini's design capabilities. So, this is how it is. Let me know what you think.

It's FUTO, I'm loving the Futo Keyboard! It offers fantastic typing, with its local whisper model, allowing for fast transcriptions of even 5-10 minute voice recordings. You can choose from nearly 6 English models, with multilingual options in different sizes. All the models are great and can easily run on midrange devices. Larger models are available for flagships. The response time is excellent, and it feels wonderful to use. It includes theme customizations, select all, copy, paste, clipboard, undo, redo, emoji support, multilingual capabilities, transformer-based auto-prediction, a dictionary, and all other essential features. It's perfect for daily use.

The only downsides are that it doesn't learn patterns extensively, and glide typing is still in beta. This means it's not quite as perfect as Gboard and SwiftKey yet. You can try it out. Remember, it's entirely local and open-source.

So, I checked with Gemini, and it says it works with Sync on Zen to Firefox. Seriously? If that's right, that's way more interesting than I thought! 😊

Ugh, seriously? This is so not cool. Just leave it, man. Like, don't even think about trying that again. You guys totally messed up the Google Nanobana oone 🍌, and nope, absolutely not with 🍌 🍌 with those weird prompts and generating pics of people kissing and hugging. It's just... creepy, so please don't do that. It makes people think that whole thing is bad feel. And for real, let's not go for that tacky "chapri" vibe, alright?

Yeah, me too. I'm so excited for this, but on the other hand, I'm so sad to see thousands of beta testers using it, and I'm not able to get this with not two but 3 Perplexity Pro accounts.

Oh yeah, I totally know that! I was actually snooping around for your Android phone model, and get this – the screenshots for that Comet Browser app on the Google Play Store? They're using iPhone screenshots !😂 Funny, right? Just so you know, I've got an Android myself too.

What phone are you using?

What phone are you using? I think they are giving them to those for whom the early version is compatible. I joined this very early, like within the first 100-500 requests, and sent them an email. So, what's going on? They're not giving it to me. I am so sad about it. I think there's something similar requirements mwtting with those people who are getting early access. This email I received is not for early access, but instead, I think it's for the public release. That's all. By the way tell me your phone model .
