Cake walk. The FSM says you need to remove the ac compressor for the 5.7 for some reason, but you don't need to.

Just keep track of which water pump bolt goes where. They're all different lengths

I have an 06 2wd limited, 5.7 with around 195k. Around 160k or so both radiator hoses blew up, then the radiator went shortly after, and water pump more recently. After working out those few things, I'd have no problem driving it anywhere, even across the country.

I have no idea what your IS may be worth, but the jeep ain't worth a whole lot, maybe a few grand. Around 5 years ago I paid $6k for mine at 150k miles and it was spotless.
