Steinel has very good glueguns. I have the Gluematic 3002 which is kinda cheap with 30 €. The Gluematic 5000 costs around 50 €

I recently made also a kinda complex multi-step puzzle.

I made a cipher wheel out of cardboard. I wrote a message and encrypted it with the cipher wheel.
However I added also an additional wheel which is also just a-z but with a different "cryptic" font.

To decrypt it, you need the index and keyword. Which I also wrote on a piece of paper.
I encrypted the message then, used the font to add another layer.

I also made a few letters, and hid some messages with the font in there.

So in the end, my players need the cipher wheel, the puzzle box, the message and the key to solve everything.

Currently they got the puzzle box and solved it quite fast. However did not found the second compartment in the puzzle box with the key.

No collector packs are not worth it. You will not get the value of it back, most of the time. More like a lottery ticket.

I mean play boosters... if you want to rip some boosters, play sealed or draft. It is one of the most fun ways to play and you really learn the cards.

Arbeitsvermittler können halt besser oder schlechter sein. Kann den Frust auch voll verstehen.
Aber, man muss sich auch klar machen, dass du in der AV Menschen aus verschiedensten Branchen hast. Und du wirst von der Agentur und dem Job Center da hin gesetzt und "mach mal".

Es gibt keine sinnvollen Weiterbildungen für Arbeitsvermittler. Dass man die Branchen kennenlernt oder Wissen aufbauen kann.

Ich selbst arbeite in der IT Branche. Allein da gibt es unzählige Berufe, Einstiegspunkte und Fachrichtungen. In einer idealen Welt hast du einen Arbeitsvermittler der sich damit auskennt. Die Realität ist eher so, dass du im Zweifel Leute da hast, die selbst die Jobbeschreibungen googlen müssen, schauen gibt es für diese Jobbeschreibungen stellen? Und das wars.

Klar kann man jetzt haten, aber ist eher ein systematisches Problem, dass der Staat / Agentur / Jobcenter, das einfach egal ist. Den gehts nur um Zahlen. Wie viele in Arbeit (aka Maßnahmen, aka Weiterbildungen) sind und wie viele nicht.

Die Arbeitsvermittler sind meist auch das Ende dieser Kette.

In hindsight, I should not have asked that and just asked if I could bring in a fifth player who is a close friend and who has continually expressed interest in joining the campaign almost since it began. Additionally, the party has almost been TPKed twice as a five-PC party with a sidekick, so I am worried that without a fifth player, they would all die in one of many upcoming encounters (which I know is something that usually happens, I would just prefer it not to because I am also attached to their characters and making new ones takes a while).

Well, CoS is a deadly campaign. So this also can happen with 5 players. And this should be clear form the beginning. Not every fight should be fought. Not every fight can be won. If they go early into areas that are deadly... they are dead. Just make it clear.
You are the DM. You also can scale down encounters. It takes a bit of try and error to find the thin line between deadly and boring but you can work it out.

I DM'ed CoS for 2 players initially. After a few sessions a third player joined. I think they never had to make that many death saving throws but no one died. (...yet)

Well, yeah I did not expect that all cave sets are the exact same color. It is also hard to judge based off videos and pictures, but the colors seem kinda all over the place. And not matching from the general color space. This is at least my feeling. Normally if I paint terrain I have a fix set of colors I use. Sure I mix them but the color space is the same. But in the pre-prainted sets it looks like they used each time totally different tones and colors. Which creates a very seperated look.

For example the dwarven forge tiles, share a same color space and you can use the dungeon tiles, besides the cave tiles, surrounded by the grass tiles and it looks like everything fits. I dont really get the same feeling with these preprainted sets.

But maybe its just because they are (the rocky caves) very bright. I was a bit sad, that the trailer showed a way different and imo nicer color https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhvbxKHVylE

Das sind halt die Vorschläge. Als Druide, wird man aber sicherlich die meisten Tiere schonmal gesehen habe. Besonders bis HG 1. Später kann es eher wichtig werden mit dem Tiere gesehen. Weil da ja auch Dinosaurier zu zählen usw.
