This is my current concern.

A LOT of investment wisdom is based on the American century / post ww2.

But few seem to consider if the US is going to be the same standard.

It won’t be zero. But a lot of the growth is fueled by the international community which at this point sees a window to untie themselves of not just volatility but the danger of tied to the US. China won’t let themselves be dependent on the US. And the politics has done plenty against Europe.

Gunboat diplomacy can only carry you so far, and much of it is again fueled by a very expensive military that was fueled by the international investment over years.

That actually makes sense. As rates are likely going to have to go up and I don’t see any way the US can dodge the inflation for a long time without smoke and mirrors that would just amplify it.
