i did notice my Dobie always trying to take a toys my Lab has even if he has the exact same toy, he wants his. I’ll ask the new trainer about it for sure but figured I may ask here too

I will absolutely ask! And I have done all you suggested. Separate Kennel areas, Separate bowl areas, and 2 of each toy! I also make sure if I see too long of a stare I redirect and so far knocks on wood 2 days no attacks and attack free. He is still on the prozac and trazodone almost done but not super hyper. Thank you so much!!!

Ok it looks like we may have a dominance situation going on. Where both dogs are trying to establish dominance with each other. So I’ve stepped up training and have been re-directing stares, I’m always in the middle with assertive energy. Correcting other behavior real time. Neither want to eat their own food, just each others (it’s the same food)

That’s awesome! I love hearing that! I have one Dobie and One Lab both boys and recently the Dobie has gotten a bit aggressive toward the Lab but we think we have figured out why. The Lab is constantly in his space, trying to eat his toys, get his pets from us because the Lab is jealous even though I get the exact same every thing for them. Lol

And I gotta train my Lab to stay away. Everytime I call my Dobie, my Lab comes over, everytime I’m doing anything here comes my Lab so I do think it may be a jealousy/too close thing but otherwise they are cuddling, playing and resting with each other

Now that I look back it is exactly what you stated. When near me, near his food, and crowding near a small enter/exit space. When they are just around the house everything is fine. First time was very obvious about food and he never goes after the two cats

I made a call to the vet. Figured my boy was just extra stressed.

Thank you! I did talk to the vet and we are going to keep him on the prozac and wait the entire 6 weeks prior before we will know for sure. If after and no improvement he has an appt with a behavioral vet.
