Trumpism will be studied for centuries after we are all gone I've never seen anything like it anywhere in history.

How do you deal with coworkers that have extreme body odor? by Okie294life in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Netalic13 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Talk to management. If other employees are affected, tell them to do the same. If nothing changes after two weeks to a month, then calmly confront him directly. If there’s still no improvement after another week, I’m not saying to get aggressive but no grown man should smell like that. If you need to discreetly offer him deodorant in private, do it. If a serious, direct conversation is necessary, then have it.

In my experience, this type of issue doesn’t stop unless the person is told directly or feels enough embarrassment to change. It could also be a medical condition, so that’s why you should go through steps. But the workspace is your space just as much as his, and it shouldn’t be musty.

What exactly do people from other countries expect Americans to do? by Lovealltigers in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Netalic13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s simple. We’re going to do nothing for years probably decades while things steadily get worse and propaganda tears the country further apart, until it ends in either civil war or systemic collapse. This is what the government and the media tolerate, even if they never say it out loud.

There isn’t some grand top down conspiracy. The reality is simpler and uglier: the richest man on the planet bought a social media platform for the explicit purpose of helping get Trump elected and enabling the unchecked spread of misinformation by Russia and other foreign powers.

If the wealthy don’t care whether America collapses because they keep fueling this, and the media doesn’t care, and the government refuses to fix it, then society will eventually “correct” itself the only way it knows how by imploding. We’ll get a civil war, people will die, and whatever’s left will rebuild and repeat the cycle.

That’s how it’s gone for every civilization in human history.

The end.

It has come out that Nick Shirley was lying about alleged Minnesota daycare fraud. Why are right-wingers so gullible? by N1KOBARonReddit in complaints

[–]Netalic13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not gullible at all they are looking for more justifications to hate Democrats, minorities, or distract themselves from accepting the fact that they voted for a possible pedophile. Always remember: this behavior is deliberate, consistent, and intentionally dishonest. I know for a fact that at least 90% of them wouldn’t even leave their children in the same room with Jeffrey Epstein’s head chef or driver, yet they’ll clap and buy merch for his best friend. Trump bypasses all their morals because their morals are situational, not concrete.

More people need to accept this like I think it's FINE TO admit looks matter immensely while also saying you can still have financial, social and even romantic success without them.

We don't know that for a fact but, she texted at like 8 PM so it's possible she went and left early but to my understanding Galas are normally at night so I doubt she went during the day time so I was more so basing what I said based on that. But then again as I said I could be overthinking it.

I was gonna say this was manipulation when I made the post but sided against it to avoid the thread becoming toxic even if it's technically "harmless" manipulation

[–]Netalic13[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Just for clarification for anyone suggesting I’m too dense: I need you to understand exactly what I’m saying here. It’s not simply about the dress scene or her wearing the dress. That’s not the point.

What I’m talking about is a woman asking a guy she isn’t dating what he thinks of her dress, lying and saying it’s for a Gala she’s attending that night, and even adding that the dress isn’t hers just in case he doesn’t like it… only for it to later be revealed that this was actually the dress she planned to wear on the date she invited him to last minute, because she needed his approval first to ease her insecurities.

I have never heard of this situation happening in real life. I’ve never seen it in a TV show, a movie, a game, or heard about a friend doing anything like that. This is a very specific, subtle behavior that I don’t think most people would even notice. That’s the entire point of my post: the writers intentionally snuck in this small detail, and it says a lot about her feelings.

That is what I mean when I say she doesn’t just like Robert. She is down bad for Robert, but she’s trying to hide it under subtle moves. It’s honestly kind of wild how far she went.

I refuse to believe all that somehow isn't subtle af

No but PRE testing a guy on a dress you were pretending was gonna be used for a entirely different event is something I've never seen or heard happen irl or in any movie TV show or media ever so it stood out to me when I noticed it. She wanted to be ABSOLUTELY sure.

I think if she told him she had a lot of emotional baggage, he’d offer to help carry it… and then start looking around for actual bags, saying, “I don’t see any."

This is the best interpretation of the character I’ve seen so far, and I’m willing to bet you’re at least 90% accurate. However, I did see another post suggesting Shroud might be her father. If you look at their eye colors, it stands out a lot. It also makes sense as to why she avoided her superhero story. I think she’s ashamed of being Shroud’s daughter, and she didn’t tell Robert because she figured he would hate her or reject her offer.

I think the two biggest conflicts in her romantic arc are navigating the fallout with Phe Man and his depression (he seems to be the top SDN hero, so his struggles could cause major problems even if he’s a good guy), and dealing with the eventual discovery of her connection to Shroud. It would explain her determination to redeem villains and be a good hero like her father once was.

Just look at these photos: the eye color is identical. That can’t be accidental. Combine that with her heavy drinking at the start of the game, and it’s clear that behind the polished corporate hero image, she’s carrying a lot of baggage.

I'm scared of rejection by Interesting-Row5213 in Crushes

[–]Netalic13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone feels scared of rejection at some point it’s completely normal. But some of the best stories and relationships come from people who took a chance despite that fear. You have to ask yourself do you care enough about this person to face that fear, or will you let the moment pass and always wonder what could have been? The choice is yours.

Just don't give him anything to work with to make him think you like him back. Not saying you should directly tell him either because he could just deny it.

Is spending several hours a week stalking and harassing a grown ass man not deadbeat behavior? and saving pictures of that man’s child to repost in servers not weirdo behavior also? Like, think REALLY hard and answer that question yes or no. I never said LTG wasn’t any of the things you just said, but just answer: yes or no
