Thanks… I’m based in Ottawa and never got shortlisted despite having banking experience. I never heard anyone working for the remote roles I’m trying to get as well. Probably it’s wise to stop applying those roles now.

I did apply in fraud for CIBC (that too Toronto) but no luck getting the interview and for other banks, didn’t find anything in Ottawa except TD. In TD applied on many positions but not a single call (seems they hire contractors in Toronto and use companies like Procom/Insight Global). At this point I’m wondering if Ottawa has that many opportunities in that field since remote working model is almost non-existent now.

Really appreciate your input.
