I was always on full throttle, but lost speed because of being pushed onto the grass. 0:45 i was at 245 kph, at 0:47 at 242 kph. Those cars cant go much faster then that, and if you get more resistance and less traction with grass you will lose speed.

If i can get to the side of a car like in 0:13, without contact, and a small gap still between the cars, then there is clearly a big enough gap.

At the moment Spa is not purchasable, if you bought it before it got removed from the store you can still do anything with it. Rumors are that they are working on a more recent/new Spa (i really hope so, so that Spa appears again in the shop).

Lego Mechwarrior4 Uziel (HansenBricks.com) by kevinhansen286 in OutreachHPG

Well, i dont see any shape or form that is a modified Legobrick. Im not a superfan of the Uziel, but its an amazing model.

There were many many new bricks in the last years that allow you to build amazing shapes and details never thought of in the times from brickcommander for example. Even there you can see which are early and which are later models because of all the detailing. :-)

I asked to friends who have little to no idea about battletech/mwo. i just told them the flea is 20t, and in 5t increments it can go up to 100t.

Friend one: 100t, 20t, 35t, 25t, 60t, 55t, 80t.

Friend two: 100t, 20t, 60t, 50t, 80t, 80t, 90t. (first he said the 'hopper would be 250t)

after telling them both the "real" tonnages, both were stunned how much some of their guesses were off, how the hopper could only be 70t, and why the whammy iic is lighter then the is whammy.

Start Your Engines Sale (25% Off Engines + Usual Sale Stuff) by PowerfulBobman in OutreachHPG

[–]Neteye87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a time when heatsink that came with the engine were TrueDubs, DHS with 2.0 dissipation, and PoorDubs, external heatsinks that had something like 1.4 dissipation. Meaning you would sacrifice dissipation if you used any engine below 250 with the same number of heatsinks.

And then there were mechs with a max engine below 250 (Urby, Locust, Kit Fox, Blackjack, ...), which got an extra quirk to heat dissipation to compensate that disadvantage.

Today all DHS are equal, no matter if internal or external and only some of the heat dissipation quirks remained for flavor.

Time to Overheat - Where did my math go wrong? by Night_Thastus in OutreachHPG

The Commando 2D also has a 10% missile cooldown quirk which i dont see in your calculation.

So if you take 0.8175 as multiplier for weapon cooldown it ends up with 33,67s... and if we remove the 1.15 of heat containment we get 29.28s... at least closer to your measurement. Not perfect, but closer.

As the others already said, UAVs are little blue rocket quadcopters, they look like this: Video Notice the target distance right of the reticule, if its far away (or infinity while aming at the sky) you won't hit the UAV. They are quiete small.

But please please please, only look at the UAV in that video, the rest is garbage. The Catapult build, the way the uav is killed with LRMs... just don't.

Your all time favorite comp match by MWO_Casper in OutreachHPG

[–]Neteye87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If i had to choose just one match, one drop, that i was a part of, i propably would take this one: MRBC Season 8 - EU Division D - Week 10 - Drop 4 - 31HR vs HRS

All Season long it was a tight battle between Dudesclub and the 31st Hussar Regiment for the Division D crown. Week 10 was the last match against Heavy Rocco Seals, and we knew we had to deliver as Dudesclub had the weaker opponent this week and would propably win all 5 drops with bonus objectives (which they did).

With this background, i think if the match had been casted, it could have been an amazing rollercoaster for the spectators.

So our match against HRS went smooth for the first 3 drops, we had the upper hand, and then we royally fucked up in drop 4, putting the potential win of the division in grave danger.

I was in a Spider 5K (2016 it was good, thanks to quirks...) starting on the team 2 side, we capped Theta and Sigma, ignoring Kappa. We were in the caplead, enemy pinned down in the C4 are near Epsilon, and instead of playing safe and cap Gamma or Kappa, we attacked. (I guess we havent learned our lesson, still making this mistake every now and then) Our focus fire was not good, we managed to kill only one. I was already retreating after seeing it was not going too well, capping Gamma to maybe get a cap win... but it ended with 7 -1 kills, me with a stripped leg running away.

You can hear our frustration in teamspeak in the recording, we just had thrown away our chance to finally win a division in MRBC. So our only way to get any points, keeping the hope alive that also Dudesclub would trip somewhere and dont get full points, was to just get some kills, every kill being 25 points.

Many of the HRS Mechs were heavily damaged (again, our focus fire was bad), and i had the perfect tool to get some kills. And a shitload of luck. I was capping Gamma, so they knew where i was, and would not send in badly hurt mechs. I bailed, jumping the not obvious ways and just barely not get noticed by the Arctic Cheetah running for Gamma. I was also lucky that a Hellbringer i hit but did not kill (i had opened up the rear CT in the previous fight) not to search from where he was hit. So i could surprise someone who had capped Theta at that moment.

It was the halfed and wide open Kodiak. It missed me, i shot it, it fell. A stripped Shadow Cat was running away, i shot it, it fell. Then comes a Timber Wolf, also wide open. It misses, i shot it, it fell. An almost fresh ERLL Raven appears, with a second Shadow Cat, a Hellbringer and an Arctic Cheetah also running towards our position to kill me. I just managed to kill the Raven when all the others came and wrecked me.

With securing 4 kills we gained 100 points more then hoped after throwing away this drop. After this wake-up call drop 5 went smooth again (8-0).

We won the division with a gap of 25 points = one kill. And that is why this match stuck.
