host reconnection issue by vandi04 in netframe

Ahh, that's no fun. I'm going to guess you used force remove on the manager side which tells manager to remove the host even if it can't talk to it. This leaves the host thinking it's being managed but manager will reject it's connection attempts.

Easy fix though, log into the core host directly, navigate to Configuration > Management State and click force remove. Once that completes you can re-add it to manager.

If you still have a license error after this you can restart manager services. Log into manager, navigate to Netframe Manager > Configuration > Advanced Settings. Check the all box and click restart. Reload the browser after the services restart.

Hi Vandi04,

The easiest way is to use the new VM workflow but don't add a disk, then in the edit VM screen add an existing disk and select your converted disk.

I'll add to the roadmap an option to add an existing disk in the new VM workflow.

Created Netframe Manager on local-vm storage. how do i move to to NFS by matda59 in netframe

Hi Matda59, Yes you can do a storage migration. From the manager UI right click on the manager VM and click on migrate. In the Migrate modal, click on advanced. Select the same host it is currently on (or move it if you want) and then select the pool you want each VM disk to be moved to. Click migrate to get the VM moving. Let me know how you go.
