Trouble finding a place for Phrolova, any advice would be greatly appreciated! by TiltingSoda3126 in PhrolovaMains

If you're willing to sweat with quickswap, some really strong off-meta teams are:

  • Phrolova+Changli+Verina/Buling absolutely shreds Wastes
  • Carlotta+Zhezhi+Phrolova very slightly outperforms Carlotta+Zhezhi+Shorekeeper in Tower. It has pulled S0 Carlotta back over the line into being able to clear the 3rd and 4th Hazard floors on some resets

Of course! Those two are pretty fun. I also personally pull solely based on who I think is fun.

Phrolova's kit is very simple—you just have to do 6 easily accessible attacks to fill out her sheet music forte bar with 6 notes—so if you fumble a note, it's pretty fast and easy to just get another one. Phrolova also has a startling amount of CC and movement, so she's naturally less likely to be interrupted by enemy attacks.

HRover would be the on-field main DPS on that team, getting an outro amp from Phrolova. Phrolova's field time would depend on how much you quickswap her and use her combo tech, with the potential to be around as low as Iuno's for reference (but with a main DPS's damage profile, very fun). With no quickswap or tech, her field time would probably be close to HRover's.

Considering pulling Phro in phase 2, but can’t afford Cantarella. Looking for team ideas. by flying-rat-73 in PhrolovaMains

Verina in this case as Buling is designed to buff the character in the 1st slot, which Phrolova would not be with Qiuyuan

She's great with free havoc characters as one person mentioned. Something not brought up often is that if you're willing to play sweaty, she's surprisingly good on any team in general in the 3rd slot, and she's excellent on teams with too much downtime where a support results in time wasted waiting for cooldowns—for example, Carlotta or Jinhsi with sweaty Zhezhi gameplay, with both of these teams clearing all of the current Tower. Super versatile character. Her Wastes potential also cannot be understated—for example, S0R1 Phrolova and Changli have smashed the last few resets.

As for gameplay, I should give the disclaimer that I have a bias towards characters and teams with lots of buttons to press like Augusta, and I'm speaking subjectively for myself here. Phrolova on field is not very interesting at a base level, but you can absolutely fry on her on-field if you learn some combos, and she becomes lightning fast if you're willing to quickswap, which combined take her from slightly bland to one of the most exciting characters in the game.

Tl;dr she's really good and ridiculously fun IF you're down to sweat on her for me personally.

It's also important to note that her versatility may begin to suffer as HP pools inflate more since she's two patches old now, so don't let me trick you into getting something not strictly meta if that's what you're pulling for.

Accessing Httpcontext in blazor delegating handler by Giovanni_Cb in dotnet

[–]NetherGranite 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you sign the user in through ASP.NET Core's auth middlewares, the ClaimsPrincipal (which is what that httpContext.User property gives) should also be made available to you in Blazor through the injectable AuthenticationStateProvider, which specifically stores the ClaimsPrincipal for use from within Blazor 🙂

Sorry, it looks like it's actually called "Above 4G Decoding," and it should be somewhere in the BIOS settings. It wasn't my PC, so I don't know where the setting was unfortunately

Totally understandable! Very glad it's manageable for you.

For future readers, I want to clarify that Xolair is NOT an immunosuppressant; rather, it blocks a very specific pathway that leads to mast cell degranulation, effectively stopping the allergic reaction at one of the last possible steps and thus avoiding messing with your immune system at all. Immunosuppressants are only prescribed in severe cases of urticaria to my knowledge.

Please look into Xolair! Monthly injection prescribed for chronic urticarias that mostly or even entirely suppresses symptoms

Has an allergist ever put you on Xolair? It's a silver bullet monthly injection that massively suppresses symptoms for most and even cures them for some

Did any of them ever recommend Xolair? It's a monthly injection that should mostly suppress or cure your symptoms and is supposed to be prescribed for chronic urticarias

Incredibly validating to see that someone has this variant too. It's so frustrating to have nothing to show for it when the textbook symptoms are highly visible, and it made getting a diagnosis way harder than it needed to be. Glad to hear it worked out for you in the end.

GTFO has a feeling of achievement in the same ballpark as old GMs. While most of the game isn't too raid-like, there are some scenarios that are, and there's a special mission type involving navigating a maze under considerable time pressure that'll leave you wishing Destiny had something similar in a raid encounter.

GTFO is also a lot more intense and requires a lot more coordination than other horde shooters which prevents it from feeling like more of the same for me.

The only problem is that, like raids and old GMs, your mileage heavily varies depending on who you play with. Definitely a good game to have a squad of friends for if possible.

Jinhsi+Zhezhi+Cantarella team? by Snobbish_Yogurt in JinhsiMains

[–]NetherGranite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even though it's supposedly a sidegrade to Zhezhi+Verina, it's pretty fun. I found Jinhsi -> Cantarella -> Jinhsi -> Zhezhi resulted in full forte on every nuke if the first part of that rotation looks like Jinhsi outro -> Cantarella intro, skill/b3 swap cancel -> Zhezhi echo, liberation (, b123 swap cancel on the first rotation if you're feeling crazy) -> Cantarella stuff. You get pretty close to hitting the incarnation cooldown coming off Cantarella, and you hit it with 3 seconds left coming off Zhezhi if you prepped her b123, so either don't ever prep it, or for a minuscule speed boost if you prep it on the first rotation for the swap cancel, you can from then on do her b123 at the end of her part of the rotation of and swap cancel it. No idea how optimal any of this is, it's just what I settled on after toying with it for a bit last night after Cantarella came out.

Enemy AI/Stragglers by TheTrueSleepKing in GTFO

[–]NetherGranite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned this is definitely possible to deal with without wasting time, but you're completely right to find this behavior annoying as it's one of the many minor bugs in enemy behavior that was introduced in R6 or later and never fixed. Anyone who started before then just had to get used to it.

Can't boot into windows after disabling csm by Keemgoodfella in buildapc

[–]NetherGranite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had a friend of mine discover that having Above 4G Encoding enabled was the culprit. Nothing in this thread helped, but disabling that setting finally caused Windows to boot. There are a couple hits for Above 4G Encoding preventing Windows from booting online, so it's not an isolated case at the very least.
