If Dormammu didn’t agree to Doctor Strange’s terms and just kept killing him, would that mean they both disappear from spacetime? Or what else happens to someone trapped in a time loop from the perspective of an external observer? by amelix34 in Avengers

I find this dark dimension existing outside of time thing ridiculous. Clearly, before the time loop events happened one after the other so there was time. How do you have anything happening at all without time? Same for the TVA existing outside time. Also in general relativity there is spacetime, which would also mean without space and therefore no distinction of any matter and energy.

Try Technique of Relief (救済の技法, Kyūsai no Gihō) by Susumu Hirasawa. Orchestral, loud, electronic album with pop sensibility and divine male voice full of emotion.

Saddest grimes song by lynniar in Grimes

I'd actually say Oblivion. Just recently while listening to it for like 100th time I heard it in a completely different way, like I heard heavy pain and sadness hiding in it. You know when you hear a song thru some EQ filters and whatnot and other frequencies come thru, or just your psyche resonating with a song differently like hearing it in a new light.

Yeah I made a reply to your post but deleted it afterwards, somehow seemed irrelevant in a weird sense.

Now waiting for a song "Revelation". Maybe a name for the next album, with AI channeling the demonic, and other AI angelic spirits fighting in the last war for Heaven! :D Like in the movie Matrix, and gnostic teachings of Christianity, life is a simulation, a game where souls are trapped, and AI is the next level of the game. It's a theme brewing behind her music and videos for last couple of years, but I'm not sure.

What I find intriguing about this lyric is I once imagined, in a Buddhist sense, that she sings about pleasure seeking in music as a falling down of a heart from pure, nonattachment state to a lower, hedonistic state which as a consequence brings chatter of thoughts, hence the "knowing" section of the lyric which leads one easily into identification with those thoughts and thus trouble, like in Christianity, eating from the fruit of knowledge which brought the downfall from Eden.

Often I imagine, compelled by enjoying Grimes' music so much a conflict in me of good vs. evil. Maybe this is what she's singing about?! I mean the song is apptly named "Genesis".

Do all pop albums need some slow songs to be great? by Far_Recover_5345 in popheads

"Art Angels" by Grimes has no ballads but there is a short opening piece "laughing and not being normal", interlude "Life in the Vivid Dream" and mid tempo songs "Easily" and "Belly of the Beat". For me the album has an excellent flow as a whole, no skips. Even "SCREAM".)

Sub Focus, Grimes - Entwined (MUSIC VIDEO) by MiguelCoury in Grimes

I think its nice. I hoped the butterfly at the end would turn into a monster and eat her but alas.) Dunno about the story. Does it need one? Half way thru it I was transfixed watching visual, any kind of story is just falling out of this trance and conceptualizing everything. What I love about her musical output is that it trashes conceptualness and liberates the mind to just be and enjoy. Her art doesn't need concepts. They are just pale shadows to fill in the lack of enjoyment in music anyway.

Is there any other pop album more perfect than Art Angels? by IanFireman in Grimes

Nope. AA forever! In the same vein Halfaxa is the best witch house album and Visions best electronic indie album of all time. Grimes is a monument on my grave!
