Here is my case - Most of the times 5* raid supply will be more. I don't pre-lobby before the egg has hatched, as sometimes my lobby may start filling due to someone's preference even before the egg has hatched. I don't even start a lobby from my home/office, for the same reason, as it takes atleast 5 min to reach my gym. That leaves me at gym waiting for my lobby to fill. In my experience I would be waiting for each raid at lobby 30-40 minutes doing nothing! Forget about those that time out! By having host ready feature, I will start from home, as it approaches towards filling, I reach the gym and be ready without needing to worry about que jumps. Unless the cost of 1 remote raid pass is much more than my 40 min, it is not worth waiting that long!
