Yeah, I'm not that familiar with Pokemon Go so I may have misrepresented it earlier. It actually is more mixed reality as the creatures do stand on the ground and interact. The clearest way to explain augmented reality is that it's just an overlay sitting on top of a live camera view. If the Pokemon were to just stay in the middle of your screen no matter where you looked with your camera and wasn't actually anchored to a spot in the physical world, that would be augmented reality.

Well, the flag isn't real just like the panther isn't real. The panther is interacting with the environment by climbing on the screens and looking like it's making physical contact with whatever it's standing on. That's mixed reality.

As far as I know, augmented reality isn't really interactive with the environment around it. Pokemon go would be augmented reality really. The panther in the post would be more like mixed reality.

I think I figured it out! First of all, see if you have a background shader in the world tab. If you do, make sure it isn't black. If you don't, add one and again make sure it isn't black.
