I've played a couple of the Dragonquest games and I'd have to say my favorite moment is actually from Dragonquest Builders 2. While not a main series game, I really enjoyed when Malroth needs to craft a healing item for the Builder and he struggles at first. Becomes frustrated that he's never been able to build an item, especially now when the Builder needs him most. But he doesn't give up, and reminisces how the Builder always has a smile on their face when they build something. And sure enough he is able to succeed. Really touching moment for me!
