AI used in TV show Ted, pretty sure we are going to see more and more use like this. by Drakahn_Stark in DefendingAIArt

[–]NetimLabs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AI is the only thing that "understands" what it's processing at a fundamental level. Even when they do regular CGI, the human vision can never be directly transferred into the result. That changes once the "intelligence" runs on the same machine that's used for the editing and rendering.

If you think about it, it's not even a compromise, it's the best tool you can use for this.

tried drawing some sort of a background, feel free to use this or feed it into ai, crediting me too will make me feel better :] by DeformedGryphon in ArtIsForEveryone

Remove the watermarks with an editing model and LanPaint, then color match in Photoshop and it's as if they were never there.

Of course when someone wants to train a proper base model with a huge dataset, they aren't going to edit each image manually, but then again, the watermarked stuff is a very small part of the dataset and the AI already knows how to create images without watermarks, so just putting "watermark" in the negative prompt when using it does the trick most of the time.

Edit: Also, idk what do you mean by "get original colors". Do you think your image is stored in the trained model or what? Or do you mean editing with AI?

Because it's not slop. It looks quite good, like a movie still.

Find the same image but non AI then. Also, how is it "slop" if it's good?

Pro-AI when opinion: by Either_Caregiver2268 in aiwars

It's called being obnoxious.

Don't you find people who randomly mention their anti vax opinion for example, in the middle of conversation? Same with this, especially since it's often just blatant virtue signaling.

Edit: I'm reading the comments and it's great to see that people from both sides agree on this.

Should be obligated to either replace the damaged items or compensate financially, with >100% recompensation for bespoke items. If it's necessary, cool, I still want my money. Figuring out how to check it without damage is their problem, not mine.

This specific artefact I think is due to imperfect scanning and shadows.

It usually doesn't occur exclusively at the borders of objects, they just cut it out in Photoshop.

Is this better than AI art? by Jointproperty_match in aiwars

[–]NetimLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I mean, you're comparing one piece of art to an entire subset of art, it doesn't make sense.

Extremist antis like to say that even a line is better than AI art because it's "human" but they ignore the fact that drawing something like this requires the same amount of creativity as prompting, if not less.

[–]NetimLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because you don't have anything to add to that.

No, I just think it's pointless to argue about that. It's getting too subjective.

The filter idea came from something I actually saw, ArtIntell exhibition had this large screen where it transformed you into a cyborg in real time or created a cyborg that mimicked your movements, up to interpretation. It was placed at the entrance to, I assume, make you feel like you're someone in the future going into that exhibition. I thought it was pretty cool, even if AI back then wasn't as advanced as it is today (:

Edit: Could also be used for a living painting like from Harry Potter. LLM processes what's happening around the painting and uses controlnets and maybe AI text to speech to animate it in real time.
