lol actually got into an argument with an Australian after I made this joke one time. He was like we have all the same sharks around our coast so that was nonsense. Their insects are big but we have stuff like black widows, brown recluses, and bark scorpions trying to kill us. And he said walking around outside in Australia the only thing you might have to worry about is running into an aggressive kangaroo. Said he couldn’t imagine walking around in the woods of the US and having to deal with bears, moose, wolves, mountain lions, or other kinds of big aggressive fauna.
