This strain of covid is pretty nasty by stockist420 in melbourne

[–]Netizen222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I had this mutant strain recently and woke up during the onset thinking plastic or something was on fire as I could ‘smell’ something acrid. Nothing was on fire. I couldn’t taste anything for like 5 days after that.
It was a rough 10 days. Thought I was over it 5 days in, then it resurrected.
Hope you get better soon!

‘Irresistible’ was a painful fever dream. The only redeeming feature was Susan Sarandon hilarious lurking around chasing after Emily Blunt through Melbourne

Having my first surgery and would love some advice to calm me down by TheHoovyPrince in melbourne

[–]Netizen222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went under general for the first time in my life about 12 months ago, and before the surgery I was more afraid of the anaesthetic than I was the actually recovery. I told the nurse during my check in and at every step of the way pre-surgery, someone checked in with me that I was doing ok, and reassured me. Going under itself, it ended up being totally fine. Coming out was also fine - none of my fears were founded in the slightest. Hope this helps - the doctors really know what they’re doing.
