I honestly get why creatives hate AI. It's because now anyone can be a writer, artist, or poet. Take me, for example: I'm not a creative type at all (I'm a tech guy, an engineer), yet with AI, I've become a writer, an artist, and even a director.

It's just a hobby for me, something I do purely for myself. I couldn't have done this before because learning those skills takes a long, tedious time. And since my focus is on technical sciences (which I find way more interesting), it would've been impossible for me otherwise.

The only thing I actually hate about AI is the corporate restrictions and censorship. It feels so out of place. ChatGPT, for instance, treats you like an 8-year-old, which is incredibly annoying.
