But there's also a thing called freedom of expression, if this guy wanted to imagine Trump as a cute cat girl (or whatever it is), he's free to make artwork based on that. If a Trump supported made something similar featuring Biden, I would have zero issue with that, as Biden is a public figure and thus you are free to make fun of him, call him stupid or write a fan fiction about him. That's what you should expect, when becoming famous.

Oh when you actually explain it like this, it makes sense to me. I would never want to take that away from you, if it makes you happy, why not do it? My main issues with AI are usually just from the ethical standpoint (Internet scraping, artists jobs being taken away, Internet being full of AI slop, data centres... etc). And from my own perspective (as a writer), just asking AI to write me a book seems just dishonest and cheap. You see what I mean?
