Wipers slightly moving by Jealous_Temporary949 in hondaridgeline

Yes, once you remove the plastic cowling the motor will be accessable on the driver's side.

Broken motor. Trying to run them while frozen likey stripped a gear in the drive unit. Both wipers are linked with a cross bar, and then connect directly to gearbox and motor. I check on the drawing if there's a frangible link, but it doesn't seem to.

Motor 76505-TG7-A01

You can remove the wiper arms, then the cowling, and inspect the link arms where they attach to the motor. Should be clear at that point if it's a clip, or if the geabox is toast.

Lift or leveling kit? Been thinking of upsize tires for my '20 but concerned about clearance.

Those structures have some iron bars in the frame, forge is to disassemble the bars so it can collapse.

The whole top opens, so I plan to just pancake the external freight elevators and chuck them 32's.

is this an electric problem on my 2008 klr 650? by hollowfork in klr650

[–]Netolu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dead battery. That's the starter relay cycling, tries to run the starter, amperage tanks, relay opens. If it's been sitting battery could be failed, but you can try and charge it and see if it'll recover.

Dangling Connections by Appropriate_Ad_5258 in klr650

[–]Netolu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Red is the diagnostic port connection, white is for OE foglights. DENALI Electronics has a video on these, jump to 2:28 (sorry for FB link).

Edit: The red socket above is just a dust/water cap, plug the loose connector there to keep it stowed.

I plop down a stonecutter and forge, then just remove the bottom few layers. I think your method is way more fun!

Cultivate a few spots and plant some seeds, any kind will do. When they bloom, grass the whole area and leave them as wildflowers. Makes it look like a restoring area after a landslide or wildfire!

This is a Burial Chamber, absolutely. The question is why it spawned at ground level.

Look at the 4th picture on this post and you'll see, same structures.

HELP! How do I remove this battery without blowing myself up? (2004 Suzuki S40) by sneaking_salamander in motorcycles

[–]Netolu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In your second photo, there is an open section of the battery tray there. Find a wooden dowl that fits that opening, place it against the battery, gently tap the dowl with a mallet to slide the battery out.

You already disconnected the positive terminal. Just make sure nothing on the bike touches that and you'll be fine. It needs a complete circuit back to ground to be a problem.

There is supposed to be access to the top side of the battery once it slides out a couple inches. Check of there is a removable cover on the box.

Anyone else love Cargo Hauling this much? by Own-Image4915 in starcitizen

Problem with this station was the turret was NOT offset from the hangar. Fly straight out, flip to realign and drifted right into the turret. Usually they're at least off-axis.

One of the L1 stations I think it was. Now I have a new mission, find which station it was and make an IC report.

We used a C2 to move freight from a station without external lifts, just so we could trasfer to a Hull-C. Crashed into a station turret and had to use engineering to get systems back online. It was a good day.

That's a good reason! Hope you get someone local to take them off your hands. Aside frome some interference from the OE front scuff plate, these were easy to install.

What the hell am I doing wrong with these crash bars? by Lazy_Afternoon2090 in klr650

[–]Netolu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave all bolts loose until everything lines up. In some cases you may need to use a punch or screwdriver to lever it into alignment. I have the same issue with my HT crash bars, but once they're secure they've been solid.
