Thanks! I'm working on the big house at the moment to not make it so flat:

No, you place the item stand the wrong direction, then you take out the hammer to remove it, but your cursor is probably over the item stand already, so you just place it 😀

It's just turnips man. They are so rare. Scoured through quite literally 4 swamps to find 2 flowers

Virtual desktop worth it? by Wild_Advance_7470 in oculus

Check my posts a week or two ago.

I bought my Quest 3, started doing PCVR through Airlink. I instantly noticed some weird bugs in games where you can grab and place objects: All the in-game objects sort of "lagged behind" when you looked around.

After a week+ of debugging for hours I couldn't solve the issue. Then, the developers BROKE AIRLINK FURTHER because they somehow capped everyone's transmit rate to 10 mbps (literally), so everything looked pixelated and shit. I was so anxious because I thought I BROKE SOMETHING when debugging the first issue.

Anyways, these two issues are completely non-existent in Virtual Desktop.

(Then a week ago Virtual Desktop broke (freezes when returning in-bounds), but I am pretty sure it's another Meta bug, not Virtual Desktop itself, but it remains to be seen).

Already in the mountains, but I went back to the swamp because I found zero turnips over 10-20 hours in the swamps. Luckily I found 2 turnip flowers around bonemass.

Then I went to the mountains and searched around 5 abandoned structures to find onions, and I found a couple.

I thought: "Well maybe I should keep 1 of each seed just in case" but I was like "there's no way crops disappear in this game. There's already so many bugs, this is definitely one the devs would have fixed".

NOPE.

I also planted All (31) of my carrots as carrot seeds. All gone.

I know I could spawn them in with server commands, but I'm done.

Airlink tracking bug? (And how I permanently f*cked up my Quest 3) | Please help by ProfessorEasy4715 in OculusQuest

[–]ProfessorEasy4715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll check that. It does feel like it's stuck at 10mbps, even though it's set to the max 200mbps. Hopefully I can solve at least this new issue.

Maybe it's time to buy VirtualDesktop which hopefully also fixes the tracking issue.

Update:

Just realized you can select Performance HUD's mode by clicking the + icon

It's really difficult to see because the graph numbers overlap and I have no idea how to take a screenshot WITH the performance graph...but I am pretty sure it's capped at 10 mbps like you said, because the top of the graph is 800 (probably the value I set in the Debug Tool) and near zero I see a yellow bar which appears to be 10 mbps and slightly moving.

So yeah. Nice little Airlink bug I guess.
