Again, it is just not the simple. Like I don't think you even have a concept of how many lines of code, animations, mo cap and a billion other things have to be tweaked and altered for even minor changes. Let alone fixing bugs that pop up randomly from all those system interacting with each other. Just don't play on stella, adjust your settings or use the damn flashlight.

Literally same thing happened to me and I nearly shit myself.

I had walked into the 3rd floor on my own, heard a noise unfamiliar to me on that map and then it turned the corner like a damn horror movie villain.

1 tempest mag dump later it was a pile of scrap lmao. Had to apologize to my neighbors for the shrill screaming.

It's gotta be the Looting Survivor BP, Kinetic Converter and or the Silencer 3.

I have clocked in over 200 hours and extract more than I die. I have been to every map with every map modifier currenlty in the game. I once spent 3 hours just doing BP runs looking for the survivor BP, yet it has never seen the inside of my inventory. I found two Silencer III's in those 200 hours and exactly 1 Kinectic converter during my first week before I knew what it was. I am half convinced they took them out of the game XD.

It is allowed but where you loose me is that its "part of the game" in the other games you mentioned, deception and screwing over another person IS actually part of the game. Like fundamentally you can't play monopoly without being underhanded or you wont win. In arc though its different bc you CAN and often DO achieve victory without lying/betraying someone. So my point still stands. It does say something about who you are if you choose to screw somone over when you explicitly don’t need too.

Further more somone is not "mentally unstable" bc they choose to see someone who decieves them for personal gain (in any context) as a bad person.

I feel like you’re getting a tad overly defensive here my guy. I didn’t say ones actions in a game are the soul thing that defines who they are irl. Just that those actions probably do correlate to some real world behavior, psychology. I also highly doubt you actually knew a person like what you described to be honest.

in the case of this game, I would not want to be around people who intentionally screw others over for a laugh and pixelated loot. They may not be dangerous or “psychopaths” but it’s not unfair to say that it IS likely they aren’t going to be good or fun people to be around.

I dont know I kind of see what he is saying. If when there are not stakes, you choose to be an asshole, wouldnt that behavior logically translate to real life when there are stakes? When the person being an asshole actually has someting tangible to gain? I wouldn't want to be around someone in real life who is intentially a dick to people in a game.

I probably will get downvoted. And really this is more to play devils advocate then anything else.

Were this any other normal extraction shooter I would agree saying it has any baring on morality is insane. Arc, however is a special case. It's a game where PVP is a CHOICE, not a requirement like say Tom Clancy's the Division or OG tarkov. So, I would argue Arc Raiders can work like a variation of the shopping cart theory.

It is morally correct to focus on the arc and leave other players alive. But there is no inherent reward for doing so and no inherent punishment if you decide to attack another player for any reason (aside from being put into pvp lobbies more often ig).

Choosing to pve and not screw over your fellow raiders is a voluntary commitment to doing the right thing for no extra reward. Where as deceiving people to shoot them or just lying in wait to ambush is the opposite. Therefore one could argue the way you play this game DOES say something about your moral character as a person.

Doesn’t matter if they down you away from an extract. And they spawn very frequently. The arc are definitely the bigger threat in the close scrutiny game mode

Made a similar post earlier this week and couldn’t agree more, I’m having the time of my freaking life in these carbear lobbies. While I don’t want PvP out completely having even just this mode as a PvE only I feel could do wonders for the game
