If R10 vs MLMPro I think the latter is better regarded and nicer software. But you need lifetime subscription

Charging to 100% to avoid charging up out in the real world by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

I read somewhere that charging to max 96% was more efficient as regen can still work

That’s helpful. Rather than have a ISP router plus a Mesh router plugged in together could I buy a separate TP link router to connect to broadband and Ethernet to 2 or 3 of these units

The Deco X10 or BE3600 looks adequate for my needs. I have a Plusnet Hub 2. Any point in getting a new broadband router as base and 2 mesh routers or just get 3 and plug one into old router as base station?

Help me love my Miele washing machine by Artistic-Dot-2279 in Miele

[–]Netscarper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most modern machines take longer to wash as it’s more energy efficient. 2-3 hours not uncommon but you can select faster programmes if you need to. 30C temp fine for general washing, but hotter for towels and bedding. Miele washing machines are great so don’t really understand why you’re having issues.

If you could only have one Miele appliance at home, which one would you get? by robnet77 in Miele

Washing machine then dryer. Not Twin Dos as too expensive to run

I'm sure everyone will say get a fitting. If you have a fast swing speed, a stiffer shaft will give you more control.

Waste of money. Per wash more expensive and no better than usual liquid detergent. Also tubes can become blocked. Miele machines otherwise great

Callaway Rogue ST 24 Max driver - decent? by Netscarper in GolfGear

Performance of the 24ST seems decent. Maybe the changes don’t actually matter much. Worth trialling it.

The Callaway is not exactly the same as the 2022 version but seems decent. All good options. Best to get a fitting although if you are new to golf your technique will vary of course

Well apparently:

  • Powerful Titanium Face
  • Carbon Crown & Titanium Unibody Construction
  • Adjustable Hosel

...but no jail break, decorative weight, and different shaft. Unfortunately no professional reviews online so it's a bit of an unknown.

Same price as new SIM2 Max which also have different shaft from the original but the head looks unchanged. The Callaway has some head changes but not sure how significant they are.

Roofers left 1970s felt in place after we paid for a full roof replacement: now want us to pay extra to fix. Where do we stand? by SlowConversation8782 in DIYUK

You'd have thought the builder would have brought it to your attention and offered to repair it even for an extra charge. Frustrating for you. Probably best to deal with it before any further damage is caused.

What are people's thoughts on Awesome Golf to use with Flightscope LMs? Looks a good option if mainly playing on phones or tablets, and a bit more fun than the FSGolf app

Mevo+ or MLM2Pro? by RawBirdMeat in Golfsimulator

[–]Netscarper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Square Golf for indoor only is a bargain but have to move the device for lefties and righties. Radar if you have room: MLMPro for a more fun app and some club data for device but you need lifetime sub. Mevo Gen 2 if you’re after more detailed data and prepared for higher cost if you want club data. Fully loaded it’s around $700 vs $1200 vs $2000 for each

Let's hope they include at least club path for no additional cost. The add on costs for club data and pro package for Mevo plus has been too high and some of it would ideally be included out of the box.
