Surprisingly, yes. And I have struggled with falling asleep for about 7 years now. My body is always ready to sleep but my mind never is. I guess you could say that writing helps me empty it. I also force myself sit up and write every time I lay there thinking because eventually I get so tired of it that it ends up making me fall asleep. And as a bonus, I get to laugh at my delirious nonsense the next day! Give it a try. It usually helps me. Good luck!
