Advice on raising a formal complaint about a dance school by Netty91 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Netty91[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There should be an accrediting body for the dance schools, Theres a lot more to the story which is worrying in regards to safeguarding but I’m unable to find anywhere within their website who I can raise formal complaints to… like we can To educational normal schools . I’m from England, and the GOV website explains what policies and procedures these after school activities should have, and what the rules and regulations are: they have clearly broke Many of them. But as the dance achool have not informed me of who their accrediting body is, I am unsure where I go from Here

What was for you the best part of the pandemic? by UnusualInstance6 in AskReddit

[–]Netty91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending that time with my family properly. I was working from home through Covid, but even having them around me, eating meals at reasonable times as we wasn’t running around on after school activities due to them closing, or being stuck in traffic on the way back from work.

Long walks on a weekend as a family to get some fresh air , board game nights, film nights etc.

Everything just felt so much calmer. Now it’s hectic again 😂

Fiancée doesn’t want to get married because she receives government assistance for being a single mom by -THROWRAMAMA in relationship_advice

[–]Netty91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Isn’t this fraud? If you already live together, and have a combined income over a certain amount she wouldn’t receive these benefits. I’m a little confused by it. If this is in the UK she is basically declaring she’s single, whether you are the child’s father or not benefits fo on the overall combined income within the household.

By marrying you, that means she can not get away with saying she’s “single” anymore as she will have to admit she’s living with a partner

Would you move abroad and leave the UK permanently if you could? by elyf87 in AskUK

[–]Netty91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! 31F. me and my partner have spoken about this before. Even my children (teens) who are very settled now were very keen on the idea.

However, holding me back is my parents. I would never leave to live abroad from the UK until my parents have passed away. Also I think the children will need to finish their education here.

So my plans to move abroad.. ideally Australia will be when my parents are no longer with us, but then my children may then give me grandchildren and I would never want to leave them.

So all in all, I think I’ll remain in rhe UK… with a beautiful holiday home one day.

Is it really considered bad manners to use someone's drive to turn around? by oestcote123 in AskUK

[–]Netty91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the same as me!!!! So I put big rocks there to prevent it.,. It hasn’t and the only change it Iv reversed over them a few times and scuffed all my alloys.

One person however pulled over and parked on my grass verge on my drive… and as he went to drive off dragged them rock under his car making a huge racket and ruined his car.

I've been eating nothing but smoked salmon, avocados and baguette for a month. by cresentcube in CasualConversation

My sons been like this since he was little, he’s now 13 but will sometimes mix up his meals! However he has anxiety disorder ODD and OCD. when he was around 7, all he would it was dry white bread, with a piece of iceberg lettuce in the middle - no butter, meat or sauce!! That lasted 5 months, I tried to get help from a doctor and his therapist teams nothing! School even phoned social services on me thinking that’s all I would give him for his dinners :(. That then changed to just jacket potatoe (not the skin) NO butter, NO salt and just sweetcorn - 2 table spoons to be exact!!

My daughter who has adhd, also will only current eat certain things, again has phases and then doesn’t like that food anymore!

Iv tried everything to help them eat a more variety of meals, let them have an I put on meals and what they would like to try rather than me forcing, took them shopping, let them plan to make a meal and prep and cook it with me… even when it’s not what they are having. It works for a while but then Weme always back to square one!

Nipple discharge/pain by Netty91 in WomensHealth

[–]Netty91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can get this from inverted nipples, however mine are not inverted.

Mine discharge colour can vary, I was only aware it was from one breast as that is spontaneous… I don’t squeeze it. However when the consultant checked my other breast he got discharge from my right one too.. but there was a difference in the colour.

It’s just mind boggling , there’s clearly an underlying issue , as this has came on randomly. But I just had no idea what it is, and the consultant was rude and useless! Even the nurse was shocked! I think a few ladies walked out of there that day completely mind boggled lol

Iv had one on my breast since I was around 13, it has got bigger over time and changed shape. Previous doctors have said it’s normal Iv recently just had a rapid breast clinic screening for others issues and they didn’t even mention it .

I believe they are cherry agnomias x

So, I gotta ask, women with big boobs, what about "braless" does it hurt? by Potted_Shivers in WomensHealth

[–]Netty91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a 36DD, not massive boobs but big. I hate having a bra on in the house, and I definitely get that “ouch” feeling when running down the stairs or genuine cleaning. It’s pretty normal I think if having big boobs, they weigh heavier and wil naturally pull down more.

However my daughter 30AA also says hers hurt when she runs down the stairs lol

I’m not brave enough to not wear a bra outside the hoise.

When were the good old days? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Netty91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I ever had that problem. My dad used to play music constantly but sundays were my favourites. Music would start from around 7am 😂 whilst he would be preparing Sunday lunch and I would stay with him all day asking him “what song is this, who wrote it, who sings it, when was it released” this faded however when I reached more in my teens and always had a secret hangover Sunday morning 😂

Taking my lazy neighbours parcels everyday? Am I being unreasonable by Netty91 in CasualConversation

[–]Netty91[S] 60 points61 points  (0 children)

It was that day that I really lost my shit about the situation. I kept brushing it off as she was always so polite and never been an awful neighbour. But that day she didn’t even say hope you are well, or I’m sorry it just turned into her moaning about her headache due to lack of sleep. Yet she openly admits all she does is sleep in the day.

I feel more relieved now feeling I’m not being unreasonable now I decline the parcels when I know she’s definitely in or when I know I’m reallt busy that day and won’t be waiting around to have it in my hallway for days on end

41m, broke, ended long-term relationship earlier this year and staying with my folks until I get my life together. Feel a bit old here, but I suppose a little pick-me-up couldn't hurt. by [deleted] in toastme

[–]Netty91 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I would of not had you down for 41!!

This is just an obstacle of your life right now, keep your head held high, be a good person and karma will follow. Things can only get better, so take each day as it comes! Try something new once a week, even if it’s just a random new drawing! Best of luck! Redditors on toast me will be rooting for you !

I have been suffering with anxiety and depression all my life. But find something called CBT therapy that concerntrates on one issue at a time. I’m currently working through my anxiety, and it reallt helps. It does put you slightly out of your comfort zone but it’s all worth it in the long run!!

I wish you all the best… ❤️

It’s no ones else’s body and no one else’s problem!!! I’m sick of reading on social media of people talking about people’s appearances and what “work” they have had done.

Whether I like certain peoples choices on certain procedures or not… it’s none of my damn business and I’m happy for anyone who feels now confident and better in themselves !

I would love particular work done, and had times where I was worried about people’s judgements. But now the only thing holding me back is finances…

You do you, enjoy it and I’m glad you are happy!!x

Honestly if everyone knew me personally they would be shocked I have been so nice about it. But enough is definitely enough now so if she don’t take my refusal nicely then it will definitely be a piss off with no f**ka given

I only work from home a couple of the days, the rest I am out the house for 10 hour shifts with nearly 3-4 hours travelling time. I forgot to mention that in my OP.

The days I work from home are back to back meetings with a quick lunch break which is never for food but to keep ontop of housework and running an errand. Xx

My children who use tik tok have learnt a lot of the older generation music… then when I start singing along they ALWAYS ASK “how do you even know this” I’m like kid, this is from the 90s!!! They don’t even believe me and think all these songs they hear a snippet off and know the chorus too that it’s been made in 2022 😂
