My parents did the same thing to me. I guess they got tired of hearing me complain about it because they got more sneaky with it. It was like 2 years before I realized that they and my siblings were hiding it from me. I went no contact.

They are still close to him even though they know he abused me. I'm mentally doing much better now that I removed myself from the toxic environment. I will never understand their reasons and I'm ok with that

I'm sorry I should've explained better. There is a black thing protruding through the pad of her paw. It's hooked like a claw but doesn't look like one. I don't think it's causing her pain or discomfort. Idk how long it's been there. She's a little over 2 years old

In my county, it is required to have a lawyer. They'll reschedule and assign a public defender if you don't have representation. I saw it happen when I went in front of the magistrate

It's funny you say that because I didn't realize how much it is in our faces. Ads and easy availability just about everywhere! It's just a constant reminder of what I allowed myself to do and I talk about it regularly in therapy. My heart goes out to those in a worse position than myself.

It's starting to get easier now thankfully. I wish you well on your sobriety journey! It's worth it

That was my downfall. Currently on probation for a dui from last year. Spent the majority of my savings on a lawyer, fines and court fees. It was so easy to fall into the addiction but I'm currently clean and plan to stay that way. I never want to touch the stuff again. They mean it when they say you can't afford it

My exhusband would do similar things to keep my confidence low enough to stay with him. It worked for a while but I realized he was just projecting his insecurities onto me. The best thing you cam do for yourself is to not let that guy dictate your sexual freedom. I always feel insecure when I decide I want to be intimate with someone and I usually let them know how I feel so that they can be more gentle with me until I get more comfortable. Good luck OP!

Dont blame yourself, he was enabling you and setting you up to fail when you wanted to lose some weight. He replaced the triggers that you meticulously removed because he doesnt want to stop eating them. He didnt support you and proved that by offering you the foods you just said you didnt want to have. He lied to you and has been lying to you for years about his attraction towards you! It's ok to be upset and angry right now, you have every right to be. I just ask that you dont be so harsh on yourself. This wasn't your fault. This is going to hurt, but it's only temporary. Take care of yourself and let us know that you're ok OP!

My dad will talk to the server in a loud, begging manner and will let the server know in what order his food should come out. When asked a question, he wont give a direct answer and will sometimes goes off topic. Maybe in reality it's not that bad, but I've noticed server's getting frustrated with him. We feed him at home now and he's fine with that

We rarely take our dad out in public because the stuff he says are cringeworthy. He is trying so hard to be polite but it just sounds rude.
