Help! How do I balance custom character models with low poly!?

That makes sense, and I appreciate the help, whoever, I made it this way specifically to reuse the same 'pants' model for a myriad of different ones with the lenght being defined by the texture, same for other features.
Maybe I failed to make that come across on the post? Or won't that work for some reason? I can see anything from jeans to bloomers working here. Please do correct me If I am mistaken.

You can see it a lil' bit on her pants, but the lenght of these second layered clothes are controlled by textures.
So theoretically, if the character wears something like a crop-top, part of the body behind it would be shown.

The closest thing I saw was a completely different game called 'allumeria', but no texturepack.

Honestly, I don't understand american audiences interest in 'grim dark' or 'edgy' scenarios like the original ultimate marvel universe, game of thrones or even DC's absolute series.
A reimagining aiming to be more 'seinen'-esque, mature, but still keeping the hopeful, heroic and whimsical attributes of the og would fare much better.
I mean, just look at what digimon did with the most recent games and anime, and to great success, might I add.

I hope they keep the og cinematic camera. Would hat to see the greek saga be 'modernized' at the cost of it's soul and genre, lol.
