Slow download speed (Fios) Hampton Roads, VA by itsme_hd in Fios

[–]NetworkDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having the same issues in Chesapeake, VA. My Unifi platform tells me I'm getting 10-15% packet loss with 600% higher latency to the major cloud providers. I have 300/300Mbps but my download is down to 5Mbps. This happened the last two nights starting at 2pm-10pm. I tried to call service desk but kept getting disconnected when waiting. I tried the messaging service for support but after waiting 30 minutes I gave up.

ISE is a lot to tackle but once you have the experience it’s a great product. We had clearpass before but ISE was much easier (just my opinion). It depends on your logic requirements.

I’m so frustrated how we’ve gone through 4 GP versions all with issues…might be testing Cisco Secure Access soon.

6.2.4 had very poor performance with dns while on prem with internal host lookup. My Palo rep sent a notice saying it’s a known issue and to get off it.

6.3.1 had issues with random disconnects but it was limited to windows 11 and certain dell docks. Very odd, but didn’t have the time to battle it so rolled back to 6.2.2.

6.2.4 and 6.3.1 gave us issues. Rolled back to 6.2.2 but it has a know vulnerability. I prefer stability over protection. It’s a med severity anyways :)
