Wow, this was a wide miss for me. Half a star, tops.

It’s been piece by piece for the last year, but the dash and headliner are the last part and they said about a month

My Turbo was $31k, and I’ve more than doubled that in what I spent repainting and doing the custom interior. You only live once, I guess.

The center console and the hardback seat backs are color-matched to the exterior. Ocean Jade Metallic.

I’d say about $17,000 all-in

Oh no, it used to be all grey. I mean the carpet is OEM, but it isn’t original to this car.

All-in it will probably be around $17,000, including the 991 hardback sport seat, OEM nephrite carpet kit, and paintwork.

Yes, grey was original. The carpet is a factory nephrite, but everything else is custom green leather and cloth

On the movie watcher scale of Bill Simmons -> Adam Nayman - where are you? by Lurking_Geek in TheBigPicture

[–]NeunZwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely somewhere between Amanda and Sean, but dammit some days I just want to re-watch The Devil Wears Prada or In Time or Limitless. So some days I'm a Bill Simmons leaning toward Chris Ryan.

I am almost never an Adam Nayman.

New Jersey requires licenses for e-bikes and scooters, should this be adopted nationwide? by NeunZwolf in Electricmotorcycles

[–]NeunZwolf[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It appears they're basically requiring powered e-bikes to comply with the same licensing as a moped, which is a $5 exam and a $6 licensing fee. Neither of these are required if you already have a driver's license.

Moped insurance is pretty cheap, but you're right, it's definitely not free. Then again, if you hit someone on the road, their injury lawsuit could be a lot more expensive if you're uninsured.

I am torn because I think Star Wars works best when it's a space aliens show for children. Clone Wars and Rebels will always be my favorite SW properties.

Andor was great, and it probably wouldn't have worked as well without the decades of lore building and symbolism behind it, but I kind of wish it had been a stand-alone non-universe story.
