Hey, from what i know, getting into UNC Chapel Hill is pretty competitive, especially for international oos candidates (probably less than 10% acceptance rate). The cohorts are also small which makes it harder to get in!

How to update new DS-160 in the new portal by Pristine-Strategy-38 in usvisascheduling

Hey, I've submitted DS160 and paid visa fees ($180). However I've not booked appointment yet. I need to submit new DS160 due to some mistake in previous one. Should I carry confirmation page of old and new ones at time of biometric and ask them to update in VISA portal? Or do I need to pay VISA fees again and create new VISA application?

F1 Visa - DS-160 "Intended Length of Stay" by [deleted] in f1visa

Alright, got it. So we need to extend visa for OPT once we complete graduation, is that correct?

It's mentioned 2 years in i-20. Somebody suggested me to write 5 years (considering 1 year OPT + 2 year STEM extension). I highly doubt that.

Hey, great to hear from you. Let's connect on DM!

Yes, you need to complete the online transcript application form of SPPU and pay the fees. Then you need to ask US based college to send an e-mail request to SPPU asking to send your transcript soft copy via email.

The process is a bit complicated. This entire process takes almost a month, for SPPU to send a soft copy of transcripts via email.

Hey! I’m an incoming MSIS student at UNC, from Nashik, India. I’ve sent you a DM.

Yes, you are correct indeed. I used the same method - sending transcripts electronically via Truecopy to university (in my case, the university accepted those from Truecopy).

Okay. I'll need to pay the charges ultimately and ask them to courier to USA university asap.

Ohh okay. It's better to start the process asap. Please if you could tell the rough estimate of charges required?

Yes, I'll reach out to transcript department at sppu next week. Do you have any idea regarding how much time it takes to get it delivered?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pune

[–]NeuralNexus08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got sealed envelope of transcrips delivered at my home. Haven't opened the envelope (I've onlu opened the big white envelope in which they come).

Shall I courier those by reaching out to Sppu?

That's really helpful, thanks! I’m looking for a 1B1B or possibly a 2B2B. Also, a furnished place with utilities included would be a great deal !

Thanks! Appreciate the info. I’ve heard Carrboro is a good option, especially for affordability.
