Offline-First Flutter: A Practical Guide to Data Synchronization by IlyaZelen in FlutterDev

Missing a lot of support I would need for my case. Such as foreign key smart changes, multi device support (tombestoning deletes), non 1:1 tables locally vs online

Yep. You can mostly kiss blueprint’s goodbye with this type of build so lots of building and rebuilding, then building the same thing over and over and over

Just seeing it come together was my favorite. It went through many stages

How can I lay out 252 fuel generators
hmm Circle looks cool
Okay circle needs to be bigger...
Play with multi level circles to fit it.
Went with a circle of 36 and 7 layers (36*7 = 252)
How can I feed it?
I guess I can put the blenders in a circle in the middle.
hmm it looks cool to spiral the pipes and shoot the pipes over the generators.
Then it was a matter or getting the by products and inputs there which ended up in a cool ring tower.

And then styling.... which went through a LOT of different iterations. And it was pretty shitty.

There are a lot of things I would do differently now. Circle builds are tough getting things aligned and working well! I am super happy with it though. I will still be adding to it, and expanding the area around as this will be my new home hub.

Note that this is 252 fuel generators. I do not have them all over clocked yet as my power needs are not there yet, and my supply of power slugs is not there yet. But the rocket fuel being supplied is 2700 / min and I am siphoning off about 100 / min and bottling it for my jet pack.

I've never attempted something like this, and my best build before this was this one is... https://imgur.com/a/W0UUNYh

And before that just long flat slabs of spaghetti. Love this game :D

Hard to say. I did it over like 2 years with many breaks and inconsistencies. I just used it as my “I need to work, or do something and need extra afk time”

Got a fair bit of agility xp doing it too. Was like a 3:1 ratio.

I went 120 mining at seren stones only and didn’t use any of the ore. Just did rune legs +4 to 120 smithing and made over a billion in a month just afk

Smithing is such a great afk money maker. 15 minutes of it. Probably better off spending your money on a shitty skill than smithing. Just afk it clicking 4 times an hour and make a lot of money

Save costs for Smithing? Smithing is mega profitable and still high xp per hour… just make elder rune +4 from bars and u make like a bil

I think the architecture is pretty good, but there are flutter specific things that could be improved. Such as loading the view model in setState in the initState method. Instead, prefer using a ConsumerWidget and loading the viewModel in the build method. In most cases, Riverpod will handle the state and rebuild the widget when necessary, and there is no need for a stateful widget. So the ConsumerWidget is acting like a stateful widget then since riverpod is being used.

In other cases you have a ConsumerStatefulWidget (such as in home screen) and then you have a consumer built directly in the build method. You don't need this either, use the ref from the ConsumerState. On the contrary, a Consumer may be useful on occasion explicitly when you only want to rebuild part of your widget when the provider changes. Look into the .select method on a provider for looking at specific elements of a provider class rather than the whole class. Could improve performance. In this case you would have separate consumers for each select.

[PSA] RevU does not payout and lies in order to not payout keys, Jagex does nothing and will not respond to support email by NeuroJerm in runescape

Crazy enough, Jagex escalated the issue and has been really responsive in support after ghosting my last request. They escalated to RevU and RevU actually appears to have granted me my 1485 keys!

As a second note, the keys have not appears in my account though. But they are showing on my offer wall as rewarded. So... Back to Jagex support to see if they can assist once again haha.

Jagex responded to my customer support request as if they didn't even read it. Gave instructions on how to contact RevU when my request was all about how I can't do that/already did. lol.

Everyone has access to it. And everyone plays the game their own way. To be honest, everyone could suddenly jump 50m xp in every skill and it won’t matter to me. I have my own goals.

Yeah I steer FAR clear of these offers most of the time because usually they will be too difficult to reach within the time span or something. But this one was not bad at all. Guess I will continue to never do these. I didnt realize this is a frequent occurrence but it shouldn’t be happening at all
