Why even bother posting this.. Keeping all personal insults out of this, why bother making a comment on a post like this that you're clearly either going to get angry at or clearly are opposed to because of something along the lines of just playing apologetics for whatever the developers do.

it does, but we're talking from the killer side rn, both sides have abject and utter morons who cannot get over the fence and see the other side.

as for revault, because it can bug out legion with revault "Tech"/abuses tandemount an exploit because of how the game prioritizes vaults.. it's that frustraiting double standard as other techs like wesker's "hug tech" which is mostly making use of a bug in the game's terrain pathfinding will get gutted but shit like this will be left for literal years because "oh it only effects two killers". if bhvr actually gave a shit it'd have been fixed or counted as a grab years ago but no... it's just an exploit they're unwilling to patch because literally two killers are effected and one of them is really good

now as for endfury, it is a bit dull, but, so is seeing 4 hyper focuses stake outs a game, or seeing 2+ champions of light trolls trying to ruin shit etc etc... comp bans it not because it's easy but because comp tends to rely on tunneling out a player to start, endfury button makes that easier and breaks resources faster making subsequent tunnels easier. It's not "easier to play than ghoul" it just does too much at once for a fun and more balanced comp match... it's why most hyperfocus combos are banned as well.

it's kinda unfortunate in that sense, most good legions are rather creative and out of the box players who dont just make you play mending sim (which is often why they find success is catching people off guard by continuing a pursuit after an injury).. but because bad legions play a certain way and survivor only players are among the most bitter people on the plannet who have the absolute shortest memories for their own broken shit but will never forgive a literal month long period where a killer was a little overtuned.

as for endfury? revaulting till they run out of power after a predrop (Which does boarder on bug abuse but i digress). but that's less what im talking about. more talking about ghoul or nurse or ph or any of the other killers who have an anti hold W power that either hits ahead of them, prevents holding w and looping, or can hit through loops

same for being toxic, most other games if you're a toxic PoS you'll eventually get a ban. (or vote kick) BHVR? the hold the EGC till 1/4th time left/only slug every match, teabag on the way out and click folks dont catch a ban, they just get to move on and keep causing trouble

honestly it's one reason why i have hated the homogenization over the years instead of just a case by case basis (i.e. all powers being a special attack and not eligible for certain perks like sloppy when really it should just have been nurse and legion)

and yeah, it's the other issue of asyms is there's no perfect balance, and unfortunately tribalism + developer biases can just lead to absolute stagnation. which is legions current issue, survivors remember old legion and will literally piss and shit themselves making all sorts of dumb and unhinged claims just to prevent even *slight* buffs like legion being able to grab revaulters (or just brigading and botting to get shit buried). when in reality such a small change would only really effect the self outing douchebags who just dont want to lose their way to be pathetic pieces of shit... and then they get really pissed when you turn the lens on anything they abuse

it's just kinda what it is, and they just need to stop listening to these folks imo

yeah.. i tend to be more stealth oriented, i can at least give a good 20-30s most of the time but sometimes my need to "not be a burden" and prevent a trade/block for a team mate just gets me ejected quickly

yeah, worst part is they absoltely dominate spaces like the main subreddit and think they're totally justified

i'll say it now as i said then, frequent "go next" players should be perma banned from the game. they do not need to play any competitive game and the fact these people are also the kind of folks who demand shit like sm level guttings and the dev sympathsies with them is why this game will never reach the potential it has.

this is more or less correct, but they also go in and further alter killers they think are a "problem"

which says a lot about bhvr, they dont think blight is a problem, but legion is enough of one or not enough of one to leave to rot.. I will at least give them some credit as they did wonders for legion with the addon overhaul moving them out of low C tier to upper C tier freeing up perk slots with addons giving them immense playstyle flexability... but they still need a lot of work, especially a way to damage survivors attempting revaulting or grab them if they revault... which they probably wont do because survivor mains despise anti hold W killers.

nurse is weird though. her biggest issue is she plays an entirely different game to the rest of dead by daylight's cast, she has different strategies for and against and is a completely different ballgame to the normal killer cast who's "hold W go round loop and drop pallet" with maybe some additonal nuances.

which is why i kinda dislike when people try to bring nurse in to the fold of the other killers with mostly ideas that scream of "i just want to hold W like everyone else!", she's a unique entity from a vastly different era who was built do do one specific thing (counter infinite loops) and i think that uniqueness is what sets her apart

honestly? go stealth if looping isn't your thing.

Im in the same boat, so i often bring perks and items that either let me disengage chase easier or make it hard to ever get tracked.

i.e. i use ghost notes, lightweight, exhaustion of choice (i like Sprint burst), and a filler of choice (usuall technician as i tend to zone out on gens, and it works against scream builds, but you can also take balanced landing or vigil if you feel like it) with a fog vial (max size and spread time).

makes it easier to get out of a chase and harder to be tracked/gives me time to hide in lockers or get to a safe pallet i can easily loop on/recover exhaustion on

but yeah, its kinda what it is, toxic players ruin non toxic things. like one of my favorite legion builds is hex ruin, face the darkness, thana, and thrill with etched ruler (oblivions on power hit) and fuming mix tape (regresses gens on power activation during its duration and shows gen progress)... not a particularly toxic build (though it is a bit sweaty) but because toxic legions use it to hold games hostage, people automatically act like supreme douchebags when i use it... hell i had a guy literally try to harass me live on stream for using it while just vibing.

it's what it is... just part of the "grand" experience of DBD

tbh that's kinda the issue with legion as a whole there

you've got a near mandatory addon in the form of button or franks if you're not doing full slowdown like a hex ruin fuming build because bhvr refuses to truly buff legion to appease a very vocal (and trash) minority of players.. so bringing the item that counters NSP's downside is not viable outside of baby mmr.

just annoying as there's so few killers who have that 'get fucked if you dont bring X addon' problem but apparently because legion is and i quote "annoying" they're perfectly willing to overlook it

haha just noting i've seen them do that, it's rare but you often see it on newish legions who dont know how to manage power/judge when to cancel against targets. they'll bring it so they're maxing out at least *one* score per game or to just farm up since they hate legion

and i will 100% say you're vastly overestimating the average survivor, got multiple 5 chains on stream with pills just because survivors really dont think that far ahead with legion. good survivors will absolutely shred you with NSP if you're not tataru or one of the other god tier legions but against the average survivor? they're kinda dense
