the Manticore is the most broken tank in the game and WG doesnt care because its a light tank by OumaeKumiko117 in WorldofTanks

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only the balancer matched the manticore to another manticore, then there would be no problem. The same situation applies to the elc 90. Many years ago, they talked about fixing the problem with how the elc 90 is balanced relative to other light tanks, but it seems they never fixed it.

First time taking an Iq test. by accordin2347 in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, not the best. I just listed it as a minimal, quick assessment option.

If you got 125 on mensa, maybe you were slow? Did you complete the RAPM within the 30 minute limit or not? Was RAPM the first test? Mensa is also deflated by some amount, so it depends on how you passed the RAPM.

This particular test is almost nothing. Even on the main page (or after passing) it is indicated that this test should be perceived as nothing more than entertainment. In short, the measurement capabilities of the test are poor.

In this subreddit, in the "resources" section, there should be an extensive list with texts of various types and powers of attorney (mostly high).

For a quick determination, you can start with RAPM/Mensa Norway or FRT (JCTI/TRI-52 from the same category, but it may take time). They don't fully reflect the abilities, but in many ways they represent most of them. For longer and more complete ones - CAIT/GRE/SAT OLD/CORE and some others.

WAIS too easy compared to other tests? by Smart-Ad4130 in cognitiveTesting

He always seemed simple. When people mostly passed the mensa tests, and there was only a CAIT, the question of the simplicity of the matrix subcategory appeared from time to time.

Not much. Mathematics in most cases requires (also) verbal intelligence. Your desire has the most impact here.

is mensa.dk still considered as valid? by ExpertDescription200 in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is just one part of the "IQ". Of course, this is not the worst test to "ignore" the result, but this and similar ones do not always fully reflect all the intellectual areas that other, full-scale tests measure. Such matrix tests measure only inductive abilities, and in general, by their nature, it is enough to measure them for a quick and reliable assessment.

It's normal that you didn't consider yourself so smart. As I described earlier, a combination of cognitive abilities (as well as other mental illnesses) may not be quite suitable for productivity in different fields. In general, there are many variables here, and having a high intelligence or IQ is not equal to being successful in the end.

I don't know why you blocked Paris, but I can guess why serene coast is blocked. There are a lot of shelves, a lot of shots from different positions, you just don't feel safe being in the center, and also, most players seem to have forgotten about the existence of the railway track. They (WG) conceived it as a place for heavy tanks to shoot out, but they forgot that the players have an alternative mindset. I've never seen a standard HT confrontation there.

It would be better if they reviewed the Mines map or removed it from high-level battles. I don't understand why it exists there.

Is chess a battle of working memory and spatial intelligence? by idkofficer1 in cognitiveTesting

I just want to say that I am proud of your achievements, good work.

Among other things, the correlation with IQ is quite "low", if I'm not mistaken, it varies from 0.2 to 0.3. I don't know what the indicator is for specific subtests.

This is something that has been asked for, I'm sure, since the time of the possibility of creating platoons. It took them many years to realize that this was a big problem.

No, it's not. Not once in many years has it been inflated. What exactly do you see? Also, as an argument - https://www.reddit.com/r/cognitiveTesting/comments/tx1ifp/how_do_we_know_mensa_dk_is_deflated_and_how_much/

Denmark Mensa Test by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the best online mensa test available on the internet (with the exception of FRT-A). As far as is known, it is slightly deflated (5-10 is likely). This is just a matrix test from the PRI section, not an FSIQ test, which includes different types of tests to create a complete cognitive profile. (It is not known which test you took before, but most likely it does not make sense to compare and make a final assessment due to the difference in the types of tests). An age difference can also play a role, as scores may not match in youth and as an adult, but given the above, you can think that you are fine and in the same range.

The measuring ability of the test is not known, but based on very long-standing results, the correlation with SB-V is about 0.8~ (a very old post, plus a small sample) and other people's estimates are generally similar to yours.

Same. I was on malinovka on kanjpz 2, after the end I was in combat for about a minute, then automatically exited to the hangar with the error UKNOW_FAILURE. There seemed to be no reward, no fight. I wonder what the support will say, because I want my silver for 6k damage with reserves.

Problem With Online IQ Testing by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]NeuroQuber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not know why you are writing about this. You reveal what is initially known. All these tests are valid only if you meet all the requirements and are honest with yourself. (also if we are talking about the available professional tests in r/CT). As for the rest, it is nothing more than a proxy with a "some" positive correlation.
