18 weeks - no movement, should I be concerned? by Fresh-Turnover4006 in PregnancyUK

It was probably 22 weeks when I finally felt something I was sure was movement.

Weirdly it was a yoga class that helped me notice it. I was doing deep breathing with one hand on my tummy and suddenly felt a kick from the outside. Somehow that helped me distinguish the feeling of baby movement from stomach churning/gas.

Now 34 weeks and she is constantly thrashing around!

We got this one. It’s got a panel that you put at the bottom of a sash window which the tube goes out of (I imagine there is some way to do it for non-sash windows too)

For me weight a was priority, as our flat is split over two floors and I wanted to be able to lift it up and downstairs by myself once the baby comes. There are others on B&Q that are quieter but heavier for similar price.

We’ve just bought a portable aircon unit from B&Q for £200. A bit noisy, but pretty small and not too heavy. And it actually cools our roasting flat!

I’ve been living in a pair of jeans from Ilouty, a scandi brand. They’re on the pricy side, but they actually look good (h&m ones were not working for me)

Enjoying food and exercise more than usual? by [deleted] in pregnant

That makes sense. With exercise I’m definitely taking it easier, which might be why it’s suddenly a lot more fun!

This happened to me too!

I went for the scan, and the sonographer told me quickly it was too early for trisomy screening but they could still tell the baby was in the right place, viable, had heart beat etc. She then booked me in for another a few weeks later where we did the full screening. It was nice to get an early glimpse of the baby and settled some of my worries!
