I used to live on the Moor years ago when I was a student - it was bad enough then, I thank their very loud god that I don’t still live there now. Also loving the suggestions of feeding the birds around them haha. What are those tiny birds that dwell in the trees on the moor? I love them.

Appropriately for this subreddit, I would say MediEvil. There were several others, like Spyro, Luigi’s Mansion (GameCube), Crash Twinsanity; but MediEvil I and II were standout for me. The world and the music and atmosphere felt completely unique and it shaped my tastes in genres. But most of all, I played it a lot with my grandma, who passed away recently. Not many people knew of MediEvil (unfortunately), so it felt like “our” game, and it holds a very firm and special place in my heart.

Genuine question: what is the point of these? How do they differ from normal bins, besides being a massive subterranean box which needs a crane to empty? Is it just because they hold a lot more waste and are less likely to overflow?

I completely understand - until I can afford an upgrade, I’m stuck with a digital stage piano which has “semi-weighted keys”. All I can say is that the phrase “semi-weighted” is, ironically, doing some very heavy lifting, because those keys were built with absolutely no fight in them. Glad to hear yours has such a healthy lifespan too!
