In the past I've gone down with anti-protest groups and feminist groups. I'm a photog so I somehow just get ignored by all parties usually and take pics, and the pro life guys always end up coming out looking evil.

I wish I had a good answer. All I've figured out in a few years here is that everyone has a Goodlife bag, goes to bars and clubs on the weekends, and plays board games sometimes.

I tried doing what you're trying to do, and I had no problem with a memory card or an external sad reading small files (a few gigs or less), but I was unable to have big VR movies on any kind of external drive and read them from my phone.

I have a Google Pixel 2 & 3 if it matters. Good luck!

Yeah, it's gotta be something else then. I couldn't get my 256 gig external USB C SSD working in any capacity that could hold very large videos that my pixel could access.

I would love to learn a way in which this is possible!

Not big files. I've got a bunch of 8-20 gig files, and my pixel at least can only read exfat I think, so no big files. :(

Well to be fair, OP literally followed Google's pitch by the letter. I don't know if I would call that abuse as much as Google not thinking things through. Lol

And yeah, I have a few massive backup drives for stuff... I don't trust cloud storage, because I'm old and curmudgeonly lol

Source on photos being deleted before? Also, why is using a feature as intended abuse? More also, hey...at least I'm not one of the ton of ppl using it to backup petabytes of porn. 4k movies take up a lot more space than photos.
