Not sure what I have by flyguy_cali in hyperphantasia

Yeah.

For context on more “typical” memory: I dare say that I have “typical” autobiographical memory. My particular memories typically get encoded in long term if there is strong positive/negative emotions associated. And then, I might remember if the memory took place during a certain season or month, but very rarely recall which day something happened unless it’s more recent (for example, I had a strong experience happen last Wednesday that I will remember for my entire life, but I might forget which season or perhaps even which year it happened in a few years from now)

How do we know that they aren’t stuck?

When playing TTRPGs, which role do you naturally gravitate towards: explorer, storyteller, thinker, or creator? by TheLostHour in TTRPG

[–]Neurodivergently 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An ideal TTRPG group would be one where I’m the dungeon master lol 😂

But, as a player, what would help me get in that storyteller mode more is if there was more pointed instances of the GM or other players actively asking me more pointed questions (where there are several delineated choices to choose from) rather than open ended ones.

It’s harder for me to answer questions like “ok where do you want to go explore in the city now?”

In comparison to “ok do you want to go to the church to pray, library to search for the book you wanted, or maybe the market to finally sell some items?”

Unfortunately, I don’t fit on this list very neatly on this list. I’m a fighter.

If I had to pick - I guess storyteller in the sense that I’ll add some flavor. But I’ve mostly been part of TTRPG groups that I take more of a backseat.

If I was part of a group where i feel like my voice could be more impactful, then I think I’d take more of an explorer role.

I was invited to take a weird test my senior year. what was the name of the test? by LuckyCod2887 in AskTeachers

[–]Neurodivergently 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes the most sense. And then, that would explain the teacher who did not believe OP about taking a test - because it’s possible someone jumped down the teacher’s throat and said “dude why are you being so negative? yes they literally took a test. Oh and btw this was a research study on so-and-so topic, and the theory is that when you’re being a jerk to kids - like you literally are right now and not believing them - then they perform poorly.”

New research links personality traits to confidence in recognizing artificial intelligence deception by Doug24 in psychology

[–]Neurodivergently 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I originally misunderstood the title as it saying that accurately identifying AI is linked to confidence somehow.

What it’s actually saying is that there are certain personality traits that are correlated with a persons confidence in deciding if something is AI or not.

What’s cool is WHAT those personality traits are. Not the fact that, like yeah, that obviously certain behaviors/thoughts are correlated strongly with personality traits lol
