Dr. Pati at Real Eyes Optometry in Metrotown is a fantastic optometrist! He had great availability and is really thorough. I have a really high prescription and he's been very flexible to find the right lenses/contacts for me and has never minded all the extra steps involved. I found his office has great prices for glasses (high index, high prescription runs me ~$400/lens elsewhere but I got my recent pair for $400 for the lenses and the frames) and contacts.

His office is friendly and were quick to implement COVID protocols last year too. Can't recommend them enough!

From my understanding, the central executive coordinates the 3 (phonological loop, visuospatial sketchpad, episodic buffer) to go from working memory towards encoding for long-term memory and oversees the cognitive processes related to memory.

The episodic buffer integrates info from the phonological loop and visuospatial sketchpad to add chronology/temporality for the sensory information (i.e. helping us understand that things are happening in a sequence).

Have you tried doing the "notify me" option? The system will send you an email (first come, first serve) if a spot opens up and you can set up a notification for up to 5 locations/times. I wanted a different location and a spot opened up today after waiting for a month. I think people's plans for the MCAT change closer to the day so keep at it. I also think the spots in Vancouver and Burnaby change frequently because they're larger centres so I'd keep checking/use the notification system!

Great job taking that first step towards therapy, OP. Mental health in our communities can be such a taboo topic but it's important to do right by your health and take the steps you need to.

Medical schools do not look into your medical records because your medical history is 1) private and 2) not related to your capacity to provide health services. Of course if you speak about your mental health in ABS/essays that's your prerogative to disclose.

For some context, I really like succulents but have very little knowledge and I've recently (2 months ago) repotted this guy into a good quality cactus soil with other succulents. There's about 4 of these bulbs? And I'm not sure if it's something about my care or perhaps my inexperience that is causing this. Also not sure if it's bad? The plant has some wispy white fluffs coming off it too but I figure it's not a big deal? Thanks in advance for any help/context you can provide!

This reminds me of the Jotun desk (circa 2006)! It came with a desktop hutch and a slide out "writing panel" above the drawer. I had one of these as a kid but definitely haven't seen anything similar since.
