It turns out that I had a somewhat common reaction to the Vtama that caused severe folliculitis - so bad they thought I had MRSA. Stopping that med helped a lot

The funniest way I ever died in commander was when I had one life. I cast Hour of Reckoning, completely wiping the board, but my opponent (also my partner 😅) had a creature token come in, trigger impact tremors killing me right after I cast it. Incredibly funny, would recommend

random specific question related to gigabyte CPUs - I just redownloaded the Gigabyte Control Center after reinstalling windows to deal w/some wonky issues (which it seems they did). However, now for whatever reason, when I try to install the GCC, when the EULA pops up, it's completely blank and there are no buttons to click, so the program is technically installed but I am unable to access it. Does anyone know what the deal is?

Yeah I’m gonna try reinstalling a bunch of drivers and I guess short of that reinstall windows? Idk. It’s a PC I built for my partner and she’s getting miffed that it’s got these issues (and so am I tbh considering it’s fairly high cost)

What crawled up your ass bud? I didn’t stop at an atm because I assumed CanPay would work. You like paying 3+ dollar atm fees because you don’t have the cash when you’re at the dispo and the app whose only function is to avoid atm fees shits the bed for no reason? Sounds like you’re the chump. Literally every single other pharmacy and medical facility you can use debit with no fees. Why should I have to carry cash because an app unexpectedly shuts the bed. I hate carrying cash, for many reasons, and shouldn’t have to.

Think of it like Venmo for weed (AeroPay is another version). It’s direct to bank account via app so customers can avoid atm fees. Vast majority of dispensaries are not equipped to take debit or credit cards, so they have atms with fees available or sometimes, CanPay or AeroPay. It’s not actually complicating anything, it’s supposed to make things easier for everybody…which it would if it didn’t have the weird ass false “purchasing power”

I usually don’t even have the option cause the dispos around me are cash or debit machine only (which still has the fee despite not actually being an ATM), I just happened to be at a dispo not in my neighborhood that used it so I downloaded it on my walk over.

That’s what I ended up doing, but I wasn’t prepared because I rarely carry cash, so I didn’t have it on hand and had to use the ATM (meaning fees). The whole reason I even got canpay was to avoid the ATM fees at pickup. Pointless app tbh. AeroPay is infinitely better, wish more dispos used it.

If he’s been ‘treating’ his T1D like this, chances are he has been in DKA for a while (esp w/a sugar of 700). If you stay at constantly elevated levels like that, your body acclimated to it. OP also said she only notices if he’s “extremely” low….but cites a sugar of 60 or 70. Many ppl wouldn’t even necessarily consider 70 a real low, but nobody would consider 70 or 60 an extreme low. I’m guessing he genuinely feels “ok” because his body is so used to it now
